Since Zippyshare decided to nuke my file from Orbit I've added the GT (green tip) ammo in an NMM friendly format as well as a new RT (red tipped) ammo variant directly to this page.
Nicely done, but is there any chance you could make a version of this mod with the ammo belt keeping its default texture, or at least one in the same color? It's the only thing keeping me from getting this mod, but otherwise it looks great.
You mean the Ammo inside the belt or the entire belt itself?
Doing just the belt would be difficult since it's hard to make out which parts are which. However, If you just mean the ammo that is just a simple matter of going into the installed files and removing the Ammo texture.
Just the ammo inside of the belt. I went into the files like you suggested and removed the ammo texture but in-game it looks like there's no ammo in the belt at all anymore. Is it possible you could add an optional file with the vanilla ammo included instead?
There are two dds files here one marked MiniGunAmmo and one marked MiniGunAmmogt (Green tipped) use which ever you like just remember to remove the GT if you choose the green tipped file.
Could you do a reupload of the version where the ammo inside the belt isn't black? put it in the optional files section or use mediafire because the zippyshare link expired and doesn't work anymore
