When I first started playing with FO4 I used this mod because the damaged houses in the vanilla game were not much better as shelter than the destroyed houses. Then because of problems I was having with broken previsibines (this mod and others) I thought I would try just working with vanilla.
Vanilla only proved to be too much of a time sink for me if I try to repair the salvageable house.
So, I started playing with mod again a few days ago. It looks like previsibines still need to be fixed. But I have not had any of the problems found on the Bugs tab like objects sinking or being unable to build in some areas.
I have reached out to one of the authors of 'PRP - Previsibines Repair Pack' for help. When a successful fix has been identified I will let you know.
This is a very worthwhile mod that should be fixed for everyone to enjoy.
Works well enough for me, but all I really wanted was the roofs to look like they've been at least halfway maintained.
Personally, I hate that the default status of the roofs is destroyed and that there's no way to change that in the vanilla game. I tried a mod that would supposedly let me fix that problem, but all it did was create a massive amount of texture flickering that I hated more than the busted roofs on the houses. This mod, while it doesn't let me fix the problem in game, lets me get rid of the problem. I just play it off as "Codsworth found something he could do after the war to keep himself sane. He could fix and patch and rebuild the roof of each house that hadn't fully collapsed, and the various people who lived in Sanctuary after the bombs left him alone because, just like you don't ever mess with the mailman, you never mess with the guy who keeps a solid roof over your head, not unless you want to be the one fixing it."
I like that the handful of completely destroyed houses can still be scrapped and new buildings can take their place. I also like that I can snap doors into the doorways now, so there's a tiny hint of security again. Sure, some of the walls are still busted, but those can be patched up once I get around to building.
It may be a mod with several flaws, but it does fix the problem for me. I can't guarantee it'll work for anyone else, but I'm still new to the whole settlement building thing, and other than a few minor quirks that really aren't bugging me that much, it's working for me.
1 or more of the meshes appear to be messed up in the replacer version. This prevents placing anything onto most of the carport areas as everything sinks into the floor slightly. Also, building on top of the roofs (both main roofs and carport roofs) is not possible, though this may be WAD.
Scratch that. It seems it's an issue with the esp. Specifically, the WorkshopStackableItem property. Will run some tests tomorrow to see if I can get it working correctly.
Posted a pic on how to fix in FO4Edit. For each of the entries in the Static category, add a property with the Actor Value as WorkshopStackableItem [AVIF:0000033D] and with a Value of 1.000000
@Train1774: Use FO4Edit and follow instructions. Super simple. Or download from the same edits done by me. Install replacer version as normal (includes .esp and meshes), replace .esp file (in ..Fallout 4/Data folder) with the one downloaded.
PS. You may want to place this mod low on your load order for a better chance of it working like it should (with Vortex>Plugins double-click Groups, select Scrap Everything from the drop-down menu). I did both the FO4Edit fix and placed it very late in my load order and everything seems to work fine.

This mod, as it may be obvious, is not supported by me, looking to get a fix/final esp.
