    Things to Know:
1.This does not play whole movies. Only ~30 second clips.
2.If you are having any problems (cleaned up drivein) make sure to download the NEWEST version.
3.The sound coming from the screen itself (and bleeding through the back building) is vanilla, I cannot change this.
4.If ANYONE knows how to edit meshes I would love to know.
5.I have (sorta) figured out how to make custom movies, but its extremely difficult so dont get your hopes up.

I was hoping someone would do this!
Hey, just had a thought, would it be possible to have this add to settlement happiness?

    Hi there,

I tried the sound version of this mod first, but with the movie being on a constant loop I figured that the sound would get old pretty quick, so I am using the silent version. The sound version needs a timer added so that the movie only plays once every 10 minutes or so. The silent version is working perfectly however and I love the tattered faded look of the movie. It's low light makes it easy to ignore but it is still visible enough to watch when I want to.

Well done and thank you for sharing.

I´m using the silent version too. and i like that i can still hear the sound within the screen. this is simply how it works in real life *g* if the speakers are off. The membrans should be rotten and you maybe can hear only a whisper frrom it

btw. the screen (movie) could be a little brighter at night and a light beam from the projector would really really great. i guess it´s not implementet, have not seen this at the starlight at far harbor too.

last note: it makes not really sense to repair the big cinema screen because the movie was made for the broken screen. you can see it from the side but ok, mostly you wont "see" that...

      Hello,

Graslama gets it. I would like to add different levels of brightness and a light beam (I want that just for meself) but I don't think it would make much sense to upload here as my mod is kinda ded. When I do add those tings it'll probably be a part of another mod before brought here. Any tips for an upcoming mod? I'm looking for level editing/settlement changes such as this one. Looking for a complete overhaul type of mod this time around seeing as most of my mods are very subtle. BTW like how you wrote it in a letter format, imma make mine like that now.

      Sincerely,
      Creepios, or snek ya know

Thanks this what exactly what i was looking for!I did notice there were a couple things off in comparison to Eden Meadows so i delved into CK for a bit to sort it out. It seems the 'DLC03DriveInScreenFXProjection' radius wasn't quite big enough to fully illuminate the screen. I adjusted that and added the ProjectorLightBeam. with a slightly toned down nif. Here are tweaked versions. I added a sound activator in the projection booth which i left present in both the sound and no sound versions. At some point, it would be cool to have this require power and or parented to a circuit breaker so it could be turned off or set to a timer but i haven't had time to get into it. . files

Exactly what i was looking for, thanks for the little tweak you did !

For those who might wonder how to install ezfree's improved version of this mod if you usually use Vortex/NMM :

      - Just pick the version you want in the link he provided, extract the package and open it, then drag the .esp file and the "Meshes" folder into your Fallout 4/Data directory (for steam users it must be in : Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout4/Data).

      - Make sure you disabled/removed the original version of the mod to avoid any conflict.

      - Enjoy Creepios & ezfree's work

If you are worried about load order issue, Vortex/NMM will automatically detect the .esp, it'll appear in the "plugins" tab and you can customize your load order from there.

Is there a way to make this compatible with Videos of the Commonwealth? Assuming I got the name spelt correctly, that's a mod that creates a working holotape player which transmits the content to play on powered Radiation King televisions. There's a number of public domain cartoons and video clips available for loading into the player and the thought of projecting those onto the Starlight screen is highly appealing...

FYI - This mod is not compatible with the Starlight Drive-In module, from Videos of the Wasteland.

Any way to get a variant which will require the player to run a power line to the projector? Currently the movie plays in the day, which makes no sense. I already have a day/night timer switch mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10750/ - to control streetlights. For it to be able to control when the movie plays there must be a power line for it to control.

is there a guide available on how to convert our own movie clips? I want to build a sci-fi location similar to the new bladerunner. I'd like to ad either a massive flickering Atari hologram ad or a JOI hologram ad

I like the idea of this but.. you have to choose screen or scrap because it does not work with scrap mod. personally I prefer cleaning up the mess!

Another question, if the last one wasn't annoying; will your mod play along well with Starlight overhauls? Some of them are total immersion breakers, but making the screen less ragged and the sinkhole/pond non-radioactive once the barrels are out wouldn't exactly make the farmers unhappy...

Not many that I know, the neon light one might work. The one that makes the screen a perfect, undamaged square DOES NOT work. The one that makes the place a straight up square parking lot works (I believe, dont quote me). A few others work too seeing as my mod doesnt mess with much (so that you can use my other mod link below). I know for a fact that this one works: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15441/?

Works ok during the day but it's a shame it doesn't work at all well at night (when a drive-in picture would be brightest). Might be because I use dark nights...
