So glad I found this very helpful mod. Honestly I despise it when game companies create imbalances to their crafting system like what Bethesda did with requiring damn near everything use adhesive. This mod fixes the imbalance when it comes to searching for adhesive and takes away having to rely on the vegetable starch method.

For people using Valdacil's Item Sorting, I've created a patch for Craftable Adhesives as part of my Radrose Usability Enhancements mod. This patch adds icons & proper sorting for this mod's custom items and activators just like what's in Valdacil.

How do I just install the Craftable Adhesives sorting mod without installing the ton of icons and other mods in your mod?

I just want sorting tags for VIS for Craftable Adhesives, nothing else

So, this mod has a bad habit of swapping places in the recipe window so that every time you create one Adhesive with the top entry (Dirty Water) , the Recipe below it, using Purified Water, swaps places and you have to move your mouse to show the Dirty Water recipe every time to make adhesive.

    Any fix for this?

You know I reaaaally try to be lore friendly, other than "overidding'" Local Leader 1, which is nonsense. I like your thinking here. Dead horses go to the glue factory because they contain large amounts of the protein Collagen, which is used to make the adhesive that holds tendons to bone. So there should, in my mind, be a way to extract Collagen from dead animals and turn it into "Animal Glue (Adhesive). Very realistic and therefore lore friendly. I will certainly download this since I, like most others should be, am always low on adhesive. Because you have the modding talent, patience etc., and I do not, extracting the Collagen from dead mongrels, Brahmin, and maybe even Ghouls and Preston, etc. would seem the next logical step. "Am I Right?" as Cait would say.

    YAY!!

It always bothered me that one of the tips on the loading screen says something like "Adhesive is very rare, AND IS USED TO MAKE EVERYTHING IN THE GAME"

Love this mod as both a lore-friendly addition to the game and as a fix to a real oversight on the developers' side. Invaluable for RP builds where I don't want to bother with settlers and that tiresome adhesive loop without being locked out of 90% of early-game crafting for the sake of one component.
The only (very minor) problem might be that certain recipes are considered quite valuable and as such grant a lot of XP - nothing keeping one's eyes open can't solve since the price is in plain sight

    Thanks again.

I always thought the need for adhesive was an artificial modding bottleneck by the developers. they should have at least made me look for more screws or something.

now I can easily upgrade all my companions weapons, armor, and gear up all my settlers while flanking them with an army of high end robot friends.
