Hello, everybody! This is a quick mod that adds a whole buncha foods to buy, loot and cook, all vegetarian-friendly for your enjoyment!

The file requires no DLC and has been cleaned with FO4Edit, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.


>WHAT
This little mod adds a grand total of 42 foods and 19 drinks to the game, all meat-free. A complete list of the consumables added can be found in the README tab. The ones you can craft have "++" before the name, and have no specific level or perk requirements.

These consumables have been added to the vanilla LL_Food_Basic list so they'll show up in merchant inventories and as loot. If you have a mod that edits the same list, you will most likely need to make yourself a compatibility patch.

Most of the models either vanilla or simple NifSkope mashups, so they'll use whatever retextures you may have installed. A handful are custom and have simple 512x textures. If you want higher-res textures feel free to make some yourself.

Additionally, a simple recipe to craft cooking oil with 3 corn has been added. This recipe requires the Chemist perk.




>CUSTOMIZATION
The Homebrewed Razorgrain Hops bottle features a custom texture with a simple handwritten label.

For folks who don't like the label or want to make their own, two optional PNG files are included in the download: the bottle with a blank label, and a transparent PNG with the label area cut off so you can easily overlay it over whatever label you'd like. Instructions are included.


>NOTES
Interestingly enough, I cannot actually run Fallout 4 OR the Creation Kit on my machine (both crash on load) so the barebones version of this mod came about thanks to the magic of FO4Edit. This means I was not actually able to test the mod myself and I pretty much just fumbled my way through.

However, I asked friends who are not hardware-impaired like me to test and take screenshots, and I think there are no bugs, but if you spot any issues let me know and I'll see what I can do.

As this was something I made for a friend, I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES. I will not add to it or subtract from it. The mod is offered as-is. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. EDIT THE MOD YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO ADD/SUBSTRACT MORE!


>INSTALLATION
Install with either the Nexus Mod Manager, or manually. Everything is bundled into handy BA2 archives for your convenience. Enjoy!
