Has anyone got this to work with the Next Gen update? I can't find a single creature in the water.
EDIT: Figured it out.. For anyone else seeking how to get this mod to work since it's a manual mod. After dropping the .zip contents into your installation directory \data folder (for me C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data ) then you need to do one more thing.. 1) Navigate to C:\Users\YOURACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Fallout4 *Note, YOURACCOUNT is the name of your Windows profile. You can get there also by typing %localappdata% into your file explorer address bar or within start menu and hit enter. 2) Open the file plugins.txt *Note, if you don't have a plugins.txt file then you probably don't have any other mods installed. You'll need to create the file plugins.txt 3) If you've launched the game at least once since adding the mod, then find the line for MODaquatic.esp and add an * (asterisk) in front of it so it looks like *MODaquatic.esp *Note, if you've not launched the game once with the mod files already in the \data folder then you'll just add *MODaquatic.esp itself to the plugins.txt file 4) save the plugins.txt file and now launch Fallout4
Just incase anyone's interested in this mod..do note. The settlers of Nordhagen Beach. They're hostile with the fish and they go crazy trying to kill the animals in the water....
is it possible to capture some of the creatures, or maybe craft them, for Aquarium purposes? that would be lovely, since i cant seem to find a mod that does that.
i need an answer to this also i been looking for a mod that does just that cause i would love to be able to put some fish/sealife into a pond or aquarium
Agreed. Also I'm starting to think that someone should take over the mod. MisterOverseer has not been on since 2018, and someone needs to bring back life into this mod. Whether he cares what people do with his mod is not really clear. From what I've heard when people message him, he doesn't reply back. So we don't know whether he cares, or not about people touching/adding to his mod, and the like. It would be nice for someone to convert this into an ESL, and fix the bugs this mod has currently, and eventually add more in the way of content.
If a mod has been abandoned, it is someone's obligation to take it, polish it, and give it a new name. I would absolutely love for this mod to be updated again, but I'm no modder and I don't know anyone willing to take it over. Guess we gotta ask around.
I'm answering the call. This is now my duty, to add glowing variants and clean up any dirty edits and release these sea beasts. Contact me if you have any assets to contribute.
I haven't seen any of the dolphins, or squids. Only thing I did see that I heard was from this mod is a small two headed fish. I've dived for about an hour with clear water (INI edits). I also have Version Checker mod installed as I'm in VR. I'm really hoping this mod will work but so far it doesn't seem like it. Any ideas? I was able to console them in (radfish and dolphin) and they appeared in-game. I just can't seem to find them so far in the game without doing that. Thanks
We need more fish life around the wasteland as well as a resource option to have settlers do stuff like fishing or boating in the settlement build menu, put it on resources and i will be happy.

More stuff in the sea, yes please. Texture and design and AI are also needed for those stuffs, though.
