Perfect mod, exactly what I was looking for. (And seemed like a better fit than the other option on Nexus.) Thanks so much for making this!
Technical question if you don't mind: there's a console method for increasing build cap that involves opening the console, clicking the settlement workbench and running two commands: "setav 349 20000000" and "setav 34b 19999999". Is a mod like this basically that but automated? I held off on doing the console routine because of reported stability issues, but really would like to understand how the methods differ, if you don't mind.
Almost the same, just the values are slightly different. Basically the esp adds/alters those actor values on the workshop container. WorkshopMaxTriangles [AVIF:00000349] WorkshopMaxDraws [AVIF:0000034B]
Either the esp or console command are fine, whatever is easier :)
It helps a lot, thank you! Since the settlement limit mod I've been using doesn't cover DLC and I'm a little hesitant to change that mid-game, I'm going to have to use the console for the Far Harbor and Nuka World settlements. (Nuka World RR especially - huge lot, small build cap. Endless frustration.)
Are those values (20000000 and 19999999) safe? Or do you have standalone mods for those settlements, too? (Because if you do, this one works like a dream and I'd be happy to have more of the same.)
If you go from "MTM-No Build Limit" to "MTM-No Build Limit-AllDLC" (FH, NW, automatron, V88) it will be fine. if you don't have all the dlc's let me know which ones you have, I'll make another esp.
Thank Gosh for you, I was building a massive vault and I didn't even get half way through the atrium before my budget was lost. I was searching for a long time for a mod that would remove the budget, I already had one but it was not compatible for the dlc. On my Pc I have all DLC but its broken so I've been playing on PS4 for a while where I only have 2 dlc. This really sucked when I only came across only no dlc and all DLC mods. After I had put hours of effort into the vault I was about to give up. I Went on my phone and started watching YouTube, there was a settlement link on nexus in the description of the video I was watching and by my amazement I came across this mod, it works perfectly and I can now finish my vault with little errors being only from the ps4 or the game. So I just wanted to thank you for this mod, its a life saver.
Welcome! I'm glad you like and and found it! Those "No Build Limit - No DLC " and "No Build Limit - All DLC" mods on Bnet are mine as well. Have fun building!
Hi! New to FO4... I've been browsing mods & installing them for the last 3 days! Yet to start my game, for the first time lol
Quick question: What does the no build limit do? Is it for unlimited building in settlements, like the Unlimited Budget mod? Or is it only for unlimited building of conduits? I didn't know you could only build limited number of conduits.
Also, does this mod increase the radius of conduits only in Vault 88 or also in the rest of the world?
TenPenny, I strongly suggest creating a Save with no mods installed and enabled right after finishing Vault 88. This save will be your clean save. Then make a second separate save and continue with your mods on that one, just in case things break down. Also use Nexus Mod Manager to install your mods including this one so they can be safely uninstalled later.
I only increased the power radiation of the conduits and pylons to 1500 units. So yes you can spread them out further from the power source. See pic attached. I didn't alter the wire length (fWorkshopWireMaxLength) or add radiative power to power plants.
for longer wires : Docs, Fallout4, Fallout4custom add: im using 5000 at the moment. change that for shorter or longer. cant remember where i saw this but it works. : Too bad i cant power other settlement that i can reach with it tho lol. : [General] sStartingConsoleCommand= setgs fworkshopwiremaxlength 5000
Thanks for this mod, using Power Conduits Radius Increase only version with another mod that tweaks the build limit. It was really hard to find a mod that increased all the conduits vanilla & DLC that was still updated...

Have fun!
Note: If you have a start up ini, you can add
SetGS iWorkshopSettlerPopulationMax xx
where xx is the max limit of settlers you want, this will bypass the game normal limit. I have mine set to 50
these commands will allow the AI to "see" more space.
SetGS fSandboxCylinderTop 576
SetGS fSandboxCylinderBottom -576
If you want different values of conduit radius increase, silant's mod will do that

Thanks again for the ideal V88 mod!

Those values should be good.

The radius is increased on base game power conduits and dlc power conduits. They work all over the world.
I hope that helps!
