T41NT3D - If you see this, I have found a solution for this: Zap Slider via BodySlide that removes the left forearm. This would mean you would need CBBE and create the BodySlide data. It's a bit of a hack, as this will mask the forearm regardless of whether the PipBoy is equipped or not. I have done this conversion for myself and have the files if you would like to add them as optionals. PM me if you see this.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15342 Using this mod ^ with CA-CIF solves that issue by letting you take the pipboy off your arm yet still be able to use it and see it when it is unequipped. I use these along with Custom Combat Armor with no issues.
I was trying to remove the Pip-Boy in Fallout 76, but I was having the issue of the armor forearms not reappearing after doing so. I thought to myself, "I wish I had the issue that C1ph3rr had with the combat armor".
I compared your mesh extensively with vanilla Fallout 4 in OS and I discovered that your heavy left arm is missing the dismemberment data present in the Segments tab. Essentially this tells the game to draw the bone list from the corresponding .ssf file of the mesh you are using and remove the section of the item that doesn't have a bone listed in that file. With no dismemberment, your armor will act like it does currently.
Open the mesh in Outfit Studio, click the mesh piece in the list on the right, then click on the Segments tab above. Compare the data to vanilla and add what you need to your file, export, profit!
In a roundabout way, I thank you for having this problem because it allowed me the information I needed to edit over 300 meshes to remove Segment Data for my mod in 76. I'm surprised nobody has found this out for you by now.
Sadly the fact they made armor and clothes (mostly) seperate from eachother, means you can never get it looking ACTUALLY as good as the cinematic.
1. look at the torso elevation. 2. The bulk is immense, unless you make your guy (guys specifically btw, girls arent as bad infact, typically look decent) a scrawny lil BIACH
Funny, I was just looking at that same snapshot of the in-game intro and thought to myself, "that body armor looks good, why does the combat armor in game look so bad in comparison?" Then I did a quick search and lo and behold your mod popped up! You fixed exactly the same issues I had with the combat armor and now I can't wait to use it in-game. Thanks!
Hello. I have a minor issue, and I'm sorry if I didn't see a previous fix for it.
First off, love the mod, so glad you made it. Yet on my female character, the shoulders for heavy combat armor are off-set. The right shoulder is slightly higher and off to the left a bit more than the left shoulder, which is much closer to the arm and chest piece. I'll try to post a couple screenshots I took to show what I'm talking about.
Is there a fix? Am I just stupid and it's super easy to fix in the outfit studio/body slide tool? I'm very new to all this, and just hoping for some assistance, please. :)

The Heavy Tier Left Forearm for some reason isn't removed on the Character with a Pipboy, if anyone has a fix for this I'd highly welcome it.
Also, Female Version is now added that replaces the Heavy Tier only.
