Especially adding in the PSD file so we can customised the certificates. Personally, I've made both Nate and Nora officers, adding unit insignias to the certificates. Nate as a Ranger, and Nora in Intelligence, But I could easily swap it for the JAG, or Armoured, or whatever.
My head cannon being that's how they meet, Nora's Intelligence Unit attached to Nate's, as Officers they'd have reason to associate both professionally, and then personally - but also not technically in each others chain of command. While Nora qualified as a lawyer, I see no reason the army might not shuffle a smart and capable Officer Cadet from the JAG track to the Intel track, especially if they need Intel Officers more than JAGs at the time.
From what I've been lead to believe, you do sign away a certain amount of choice on that dotted line, you can ask to be put into a specific job but the army isn't under any obligation to actually humour you. Enlisted or Officer.
Mines an Ex Sniper and when she finds out the Enclave are still around thanks to the America Rising mod she jumps at the chance to set the country back on the right path.
I want to like this mod. Bethesda changing the female SS from a solider to a civilian feels almost disrespectful. There's nothing wrong with Nate and Nora being a military couple; that makes more sense than a lawyer being able to use power armor and mow down raiders.
Unfortunately, this mod seems to make a lot of NPCs refer to a female SS as male, even in contexts that have nothing to do with the military. In other words: This mod isn't just using military lines, where the only lines it has to work with are ones that call the SS male. X6-88 (for example) sometimes calls the female SS "sir". In short: This mod is fixing one immersion problem by creating another.
Folks, is that your experience with this mod? Have you had this same problem?
Whether I use FSS-War Veteran or FSS-War Veteran-Officer I get the books turned sideways to support the framed Honorable Discharges, but imagery of the discharges. With FSS-War Veteran-Officer I still get the Law Degree, but like I said before only the book turned sideways to support the Honorable Discharge's frame. I have used both mods to reflect her getting her Commission after serving awhile as an enlisted soldier (I served in my states Army National Guard and know that it is not uncommon for soldiers using the G.I. Bill & Army College Funds to finance their undergraduate degree to also go ROTC, or do ROTC/SMP [ROTC/ Simotaneous Membership Program for Guard and Reserve.]) So when I do this I get the book for Nate's Honorable Discharge, Nora''s received for the end of her enlisted service and the later one for the end of her required service for her commission (usually 4 years Active or Reserve/ National Guard Service.) Still no Honorable Discharge documents to show on the pre-war bookcase.
The author states in the description, that they've disabled the law degree in the prewar house, maybe they did it the crude way by deleting the thing entirely, rather than just disabeling it from spawning there.
YES! It always bothered me too that Nora is somehow capable of surviving out in the Wasteland when she's a civilian. Sure, there's lore that says that Nate taught her to handle a gun, but it was mainly for self-defense, so most likely a pistol, maybe a hunting rifle or shotgun (again, maybe), but self-defense in an urban\ suburban environment is one thing, fighting gangs of psychopaths and mutated animals in the wilderness is completely different. And neither covers the use of power armour, which in-universe requires specialized training! You might want to check this mod out, it makes the opening cinematic play out from Nora's perspective, granted she's still a lawyer in it.

They should presumably be disabled rather than deleted.
(Edit: However, I am unable to identify these records in FO4Edit, so I do not know what's going on here.)
