      I not know much about creation characters in creation kit. But I can recommend mod "Construct a Custom Companion" http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14748/? , that lets you create your own followers.

   Hi there!
   For installing F4SE, it's just drag and drop right? Just unpack inside the game's ".exe" folder?
   
   And can I use your preset on game version 1.4?

      Three files "f4se_1_6_9.dll", "f4se_loader.exe", "f4se_steam_loader.dll, and yes to where the file is fallout4.exe.

      Oh wait for version 1.4 you need to look for an older version F4SE. And I think the preset will work in the older version.
