If you're using my full version(that modified jump height), you're gonna miss some treasure and loot. But so far I've not encounter any main path that can't reach with this mod enabled. Some place require you to jump multiple times or use your environment to pass anyway. If you're not sure then use an optional version.
what is realistic falling damage even, a friend of mine fell off a garden fence and broke his leg (i guess it was like 80cm, considering he pivoted first before gaining max velocity it was a lot less)
i know inept people who manage to damage themselves when jumping off of 1 metre heights
but i also know people and regularly train with them to land from heights greater than 3 1/2 metres without damage or minor scratches and swelling, tho that already constitutes quite a fail
and hanging down a 3 metre ledge usually let's you only fall like a metre and twenty or in my case a metre
when Geck is out i'm gonna make a mod that's called "Break a leg" and just randomizes the damage or make it skill dependant, hen add stuff like broken legs.
to build on it a bit. you could have luck reduce a random amount of damage and have strength and agility reduce a consistent amount of damage. god that's so funny. i would love if some smart person with the know how would make that.
I'm very happy with the mod. Packed at 40kg it's always heartbreaking to see the character turn into a bunny. The only place I couldn't find anything is the shed north of DC, where you get on the container, then on the train, and then via the wheel loader into the warehouse. I cheated there ;) If I play the optional file with cripple, do I have to load the main file as well? It says "take only one", but does that refer to all files or just the optional files?
Agree dude. Lowered jump height would be best if paired with other mobility options. On it's own, it's a weird trade of realism for inaccessibility. Comes down to preference I guess.
Got Smart Moving mod for minecraft and now I can actually climb/crawl/charged jump to try and reach higher/really push it with sprinting/swan dive/baseball slide under things to avoid enemies/other stuff.
Returning to FO4 with it's superior graphics and reliance on hacky bunny-hopping to navigate hills feels so bass-ackwards. XD
The falling damage was the worst offender though - I'm runnin' the optional fall-damage-only version. Thanks!
nice idea! I'm all for immersion in games like Fallout 4. I was wondering if there was a way I could costumize it? Change jumping height and falling damage a little to suit me more I mean.

I can't find any mod that does that.
I wish FO had a climbing ability instead.
The fall damage only suits me tho.
