When you kill a Crow, in game, there is a chance of seeing one of two items I set to drop before de-spawning is 50% & Sometimes they leave a slight glow.

    - This simple mod created with FO4Edit:
Replaces nothing, No Cells are edited, Can be placed anywhere in your load order, Is safe to remove anytime and leaves nothing behind.

IMHO, crows & seagulls should be on the menu. Funny how iguana's & squirrels are but you NEVER see one made by Bethesda. SO, it would add to the food supply if you added some crow meat and made a recipe for a stew. Just my 2cp.

Seagulls are kinda like garbage disposals with wings (but meats meat), However a crow is some one's souls. "Fez, you just feed us someone's soul, man."

"Squirrel" and "iguana" are code for long pig....human meat.

Oh that's just the beginning, you'd be surprised at the things you can eat when survival is on the line including things like bark, bugs and leaves.

I have no idea how hard it would be to make it work but one Idea I had looking at this mod that would be cool is have the chance for finding a synth crow lower but when you do actually find one and pop it it triggers a team of synths to teleport to your location to try and take you out.

Id have to find a grenade version of that idea then figure out how to use that to make it instead activate when you kill a Crow. :-)

Funny, DDPoductions83 made a grenade spawn an NPC Super Death Dealer you then have to kill. I could see how that was made (will try to reach DDP via Youtube for original files?) and change the script to "teleport" 5-6 Syths instead. Would be interesting project.

I have absolutely no idea what this even does after reading the description. Can you explain it'?

it seems obvious. it adds some items to some crows if you shoot them.

So they'll drop synth components or something when they die?

Are you using the basic crow mesh or are you using the synth crow mesh. There are two choices after all. There are even textures for the synth crows, hint they have red eyes versus black ones. If you can even get that close.

    Fallout 4\data\meshes\critters\crow\characterassets\crowsynth.nif

They are real, just not put into the game for what ever reason.

I didnt spawn them in, I didnt want to edit Cells. I just adjusted their debris and explosion. I wanted to add this because no one else has but still keep the mod 'light'. There is another mod that increases their spawning that edits the worldspace and cells that I looked at but decided not to duplicate for the above reasons. If there is a way to edit this in I will look into it.
      Nice catch, thanks.

Yeah, the cell issue can be a hassle. But there are fixes for it. I am probably going to bi facing it with a mod I am making. Hopefully the cell patch that fixes the Vertibird flying issue may come to the rescue.

This is an interesting concept, I always liked the small little detail of how you can actually shoot the birds in this game. I'm curious to see if this gets expanded on.
