Hi guys, for those with the DOF problem, I got it fixed, dont ask me how, I just follow some guide from this comment and just randomly copy-pasted from other ENBs setting, but anyway:
Heres what I did:
1) In FO4 main folder, open enbdepthoffield.fx with notepad, in my case, I use Notepad++ then do these changes to fADOF_NearBlurCurve, fADOF_FarBlurCurve and fADOF_HyperFocus. ForNearBlurCurve and FarBlurCurve, change the number at the end of the line to {5.0} and for HyperFocus change it to {0.022}
2) Click SAVE
3) Go to ENBSERIES folder, open enbdepthoffield.fx file and go scroll down and copy this:
You are a life saver. I have been dealing with this for over a year now and it broke me. I wasnt able to figure out where it was coming. So thank you, you just saved Fallout 4 from being uninstalled :)
Well, learn how to use the ENB settings a bit better, or short cut mod it with this . HOW do I know this you ask? Because I cant tweak settings worth crap either and I snagged the shadow mod, which works amazingly well :)
Had a problem with subtle-but-distracting dark bands on the ground around me that moved with me. In case anyone else has this problem I found the cause and figured out a solution:
The cause was the SSAO. I don't exactly know the why, but the solution I found was to go under SSAO_SSIL and adjust:
ResolutionScale from 0.75 up to 1.0 SourceTextureScale from 0.5 to 0.75
Out of all of the ENBs I have tried, this is still my favorite one to this day. This is one of the only ones that does not make the interiors look super dark inside.
I have a problem: the Institute is too bright, literally looks like paradise and Shaun looks like GOD. LOL I'm using this ENB with RealisticLighting and NAC X. Any advice to fix the issue?
Try either disabling SSAO or DOF or both if you're using a low end pc, those two in particular have a huge hit on frames, also downloading Shadow Boost will benefit any PC tremendously, so much that you may not have to disable the first two options. Also worth looking into ENBoost, using those and a few other mods/load order and textures can give quite an fps boost. My monitor only runs at 75fps but I get a solid 69-75 frames practically anywhere including boston, I have only 16 gb of ram and a GTX 1660 super 6GB.
If you're still having this issue it could be due to Vivid Weathers and True Storms, if that's the issue download the Weather Synergy Merge Patch and make sure to follow instructions on load order. Also if some clothing or items look a little funny in ENB just turn of multisurface scattering I believe whats it called in the ENB settings
