Unfortunately this mod has fallen out of sync with some of the latest updates of Fallout (honestly not sure when, I have not maintained it for a long time). It's on my list of things to handle in 2025, will update this page if / when I do!

Huh? I haven't a clue, not sure I understand what the above statement in the description means, as of right now it's not working.
The mod I am using and have used from the beginning is "Survival options" it has an option that disables the fast travel and allows it in survival mode. I was hoping for a more immersive means of fast travel and was hoping this mod was it but as I mentioned above it's not working, all the assigned settler does is open up a trade window when I click on him/her.
Caravans have also been assigned to the settlements I'm wanting to travel too, Am I missing something?
Edit in; Moving it down in load order and re-assigning a settler solved the problem.
Well I thought I had it working, I get the dialogue, and the time line but there is no cap deduction taken from my inventory after I've picked my location from pip boy. So it does nothing really, don't waste your time.
I use survival options mod for my fast travel when playing survival mode so when I fast travel it's only because I have it enabled this mod Caravan Minutemen fast travel mod does nothing, it doesn't take caps, it's pointless really.
For the Guys who want to use this mod together with Survival Settings mod : I had to ENABLE fast travel in the MCM, then i was able to fast travel with the caravan dude, but not by myself. peace
I don't know how possible this is, but could you make a version that would limit fast travel to other settlements? Joining a caravan headed for Hangman's Alley makes perfect sense. Hijacking a caravan out to the middle of the glowing sea really doesn't.
Please do NOT do that , or make it optional. There are TONS of mods that have immersive travel between settlements. I am only using this mod because it lets you immersively travel to any location not just between settlements

But actually I would prefer a different "workstation" for the assigned settlers. I don't know, maybe just a simple table & a chair? Would look better in my opinion than a second Trade caravan post.
Great mod! It's good to have an immersive method of fast travel, and this seems like a sensible way of doing it. You might consider adding alternate .esp versions, with either adjusted build cost, adjusted travel cost multiplier, or both. Personally, I opened up Fo4edit and changed the build recipe to cost 100 caps instead of 500, and left the travel cost as-is, since it seemed reasonable. 500 caps isn't too much to pay to set up a fast travel station, but 500 caps at every settlement you build up enough to deserve a travel caravan outpost can be a bit too much. Also, is it normal for the player and 'caravaneer' to just sort of nod at each other in mutual silence? No dialogue lines are spoken and no subtitles appear. I can see the dialogue options just fine, but the two characters just kind of nod at each other.
hope you are still working on this, its an essential mod for me.
I agree with other comments on the dialogue. just having a table as an activator would be neater. It also needs a caravan outpost in diamond city. it just makes sense there would be one there.
one thing i would add though, id like to see random caravans walking in the wasteland (pack brahmin + 2 minutemen) When you talk to them, you have the option of fast travelling with them to their destination for free (they get an extra guard for the journey, you get closer to your destination for free. Win/win)
