Absolutely love this mod! I haven't come across any other mod that allows 2 snap points at the edge of foundations which makes building double walls of different styles a really neat feature!
Thank you! <3 Haven't touched FO4 in a while, I'm guessing this mod broke when the FO TV series release update dropped that supposedly broke all mods? Matching the vanilla models was frustratingly difficult cause they weren't an exact size like 3 by 3 meters, instead it was like 2.63452 or whatever. Wanted to make sure the mod not only matched vanilla stuff, but allowed for a more customization. Shame the modding tools for FO4 are less than stellar.
Well, for most of us who knew this update would break mods we didn't update, and also had bought the GOG version of the game which can rollback updates or I'd installed the version which isn't attached to a DRM that forces updates onto us with offline installers. The only bad part is it don't connect to Bethesda in the GOG version so I'm glad we have the nexus...either way, I won't be updating my game since GOG don't force updates and will continue to use your superb mod with my games as a staple like so many others that were broken and aware that most modders have moved on from this modding no longer even updating their mods...so yeah, I'm glad you're open to it for the ones who can't stop the updates as I've seen steam forcing it onto people. They keep removing the don't update unless launch of game and I've changed that several times, and never launch the game with the fallout.exe anyway....but this is so wrong of them to do this to mods for their so called 'update' right after the Fallout TV show so we know why they did it, but should of not forced it onto people especially those who mod it. Why even put out a creation kit and then claim they didn't want to break mods but then never fix the issues they created once they did put out the update and try to force it onto everyone instead of giving people options....it wasn't an update, it was a slap in the face of people who had no problems with the game since the modders fixed them and I had a stable load order and game play....of course your mod is in my games as a staple. I love building and even that is challenging in this game but with mods it's so much nicer. Bethesda is out of touch with gamers seems like they think their updates are so wonderful even though it broke most mods....just sad. But there are options so using GOG and just playing with them and all is well. Thanks for your mod and being open to fixing Bethesda's so called updates...hopefully down the road steam will listen and not keep forcing updates much like GOG is allowing rollbacks, especially right when Fallout London comes out...that was so disappointing as they tried to delay and fix it but then realized that wasn't going to happen and started helping people roll back updates so they could play Fallout London which is on Nexus. I haven't played fallout london after I found out it modded the whole game and mods don't work for it either..so of course modders are fixing that as well....it's gonna take time. But i'll just hold on to my current game without next gen and be fine.
Quest complete:Apparently Bethesda some how caused some mod gallery images to corrupt on the Bethesda site. As far as I know for certain this only affected Xbox players, they're the only ones who reported the problem, but it could affect others. The fix was simple; go to mod, locate offending corrupt images, delete them, done.
If anyone else has a bug, glitch, or whatever, please reach out! I'm not presently interested in creating more mod content for a game I don't play, but if demand is sufficient I'm open to it.
Thank you so much! Your mod is one of my favourites as it adds building items I cannot find anywhere else and I was devastated when I was not able to download it for my current playthrough. Now that it's available for xbox again, I'm considering starting fresh with this od included again.
Dommage qu'il ne soit pas mis à jour. Ce mod est génial. Par contre, les points d'accrochage sont à s'arracher les cheveux, car ils sont imprécis. Mais quel super mod.
Thank you! <3 Getting the snap points right was hair plucking. The official game models aren't an exact measurement like 3 by 3 meters, it was like 2.47634 or something, made centering and other measurements difficult. Not to mention the modding tools left a lot to be desired.
The lights look like they come from a mod called "Better Stores". Which to my knowledge is only available on bethesda.net. However, if Shaostoul knows a different mod that has those lights I would love to know too. They may have even more settlement goodies?
I can not live without this mod. I use it every playthrough. Does it have some issues? Yes, it has some snapping issues, and yes, they can be frustrating. But a little patience is all it takes for a lovely looking settlement.
If you wonder if this mod is worth using in your current, (upcoming, etc.) playthrough, my answer is a resounding Yes! Great mod, my settlements look amazing, but again, it's got a few snapping issues. Still, for me it is worth it.
Shaostoul, this mod looks amazing but, I can't get the menus to show. I checked everywhere for them and couldn't find them. I also installed the universal menu fixer and still nothing. Mind helping me out?
I love this mod and it's shame that it won't see more updates. My only complaint is that the walls are kind of iffy with their snapping which can lead to either tiny gaps in between them or some wall pieces being on the outside edge and some on the inside edge. That's a real pain to correct.
