About this mod

Laser Gun mods that add the classic AER14 Laser Rifle from New Vegas, a blue automatic AER11 inspired by the Scarab mod for NV, the AER12 inspired by the AER11 Holographic mod, and the return of the Shifter Optics and Beam Splitter mod from New Vegas.

Permissions and credits
I'm not making or updating mods anymore so anyone is allowed to use or modify my files as they wish, if you want to modify it to make your own mod or compilation you have my permission. 

Update 0.9.5: Added AER12, Light Barel, balanced stats, changed AER14 beam. Commando perk should work for automatic lasers now (AER11/12).
Update 0.9.3: Fixed recipes. Improved textures.
Update 0.9: Added AER11 Recoil stock and AER14 stock. Changed model and texture of FB Splitter. Parts now spawn on enemies. Improved textures.

Introduction
There's already a mod that recreates the AER14 but it just didn't feel accurate enough for me, I also liked the blue scarab laser mod from NV so I made a barrel and receiver for both. This was made on a potato as you can see on the screenshots. It should look a lot better on your PC.

The parts
The AER14 Prototype Rifle
For comparison a plasma pistol has 62 damage.

The AER14 is an experimental prototype that has improved criticals (stackable with Lucky effect), and overall slightly better stats than the best regular mods. Should be competitive until you get a plasma gun and with a good critical build maybe beyond.
Its supossed to shoot green beams and use two Fusion Cell per shot, the sparks and critical are still red and I can't figure out how to make it use two ammo so I gave it reduced ammo capacity.
The parts are legendary and I still haven't made any method to get them, so you'll have to use console commands to get the part.



The AER12 Specialist Rifle

A rare model with few surviving units. Stats are higher than AER11 but lower than AER14. 


The AER11 Battle Rifle


The AER11 is mentioned along with AER10 and 12 as more advanced versions of the Laser Rifle we know from F3/NV/4 the AER9. The reason the AER9 is the more common in the wasteland is because it was more resilient than the more advanced versions. I took the liberty of choosing the design and characteristics of the gun.
Its stats are set between the top tier vanilla mods and the AER14 and while it has automatic fire, it fires slower than other automatic weapons but it's more accurate.The gun is blue and black with blue beams, inspired by the Scarab mod from NV.
The parts can be unlocked with Science level 4.


Shifter Optics barrel and Focused Beam Splitter


The Shifter Optics barrel is a slightly better Improved Barrel with a custom texture based of the same mod from New Vegas. It can be crafted at the appropiate bench with Science lvl 3. Stats are between Improved Long Barrel and AER11 Barrel


The Focused Beam Splitter works like the Beam splitter mod from New Vegas, splitting the beam in two but keeping the accuracy bonus from the beam focuser.(Might be slightly OP) I reused the mesh and texture from the regular splitter.

How to get
Most parts can be crafted at the weapons work bench with the appropiate Perk level. The AER14 parts have to be summoned by console for now.
There's no leveled list integration for now, but they're supossed to be rare mods so you can role play that way. They are added to leveled lists so they will appear in enemies and as loot.

Future plans
-Fix the AER14 beam color (sparks and critical effect still red)
-AER14 should use two cells per shot
-Maybe make stocks for both
-Custom texture/mesh for Splitter
-Create non cheat way to get the AER14 (on my top priority list)
-Balance the stats and recipes (feedback appreciated)
-Leveled list integration?
-AER12 model
-Custom Short Barrel
-Placing the guns as uniques on the world
