The Port-A-Diner in Dartmouth Professional building doesn't seem to be affected by the mod...
EDIT: scratch that, a lot of them actually dont work...
EDIT 2: so turns out it doenst work with port-a-diners you HAVEN'T discovered already (be in the same cell with), if you found it already then it works. Still, this should be fixed or at least emntioned if it cant be fixed.
Wait what?! I can get something from this machine? I thought it is just a silly useless animation for nothing. I guess then it is true, that we learn something new every day.
Ok, just looked it up on the wiki (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Perfectly_preserved_pie), the default chance is indeed crazy low. The formula reminds me of the Star Wars Hit Probability Equation for Stormtrooper accuracy.
Wow, with my luck of 3, I would find one on my 42nd attempt (34th attempt respectively) and still with 50% chance. Given I didn't even know there is a second try, I never touched this machine again.
Will this work with Port-A-Diners placed by other mods? I don't know if there are any, just in case there will be.
Well, it's the script that is attached to the Port-A-Diner that has been modified, not the positions or the base units themselves, so it should be fine - unless the other mods alter the script too.
Since installing (and uninstalling this mod since on certain machines it didnt even work) now i've found two machines that eventually when they picke up the pie and proceeded to drop it, the pie vanished, as in: it wasnt in the container. I also have a frend that can back this theory up, as he only recently got this mod installed and the same thing happened to him; so i'm pretty certain this mod had something to do with it... Keep this in mind if you want to try this mod...
It says Far Harbor is not required, but the plugin does indeed require it. Trying to load it without having it would result in instant CTD or an infinite loading loop for the game's title screen.
I would definitely like to try this, I had no idea those machines actually did something other than waste time.
Even using the command "SGTM 5", then up to "SGTM 10", it still took me ten f*#@ing minutes to get one of these pies. One. Thank you for this glorious mod that fixes the biggest screw-up in Bethesda History, just ahead of them not making December's Child right.
These things are luck-based, but the difference between luck 1 and luck 10 is negligible. You'd still have to sit there and press it for over an hour in most cases.
However, bump your luck up to 1000 with the console (command "player.modav luck 1000"), and the chance of success on these becomes practically 100%.
------------------- Oh and nice mod, will remove the slight irritation of having to type the commands "player.modav luck 1000" and "player.modav luck -1000" when I run into one of these. :P

Just a suggestion: It would be nice a 50% version too, so we can still have bad luck, or lucky on it... because the vanilla rates are just... painful.
