    Thanks for this kind of mods, I personally need some Fallout realism to the game and the 3 or 4 or 5 in 1 version will be great. Do not abandon this "realism" idea. Maybe you can somehow integrate a "blueprint system" to the game I don´t know, something realistic, just not this "I am a defrosted man from the past, I have collected some junk, let´s build a fusion reactor" - vanilla game. It's ridiculous, childish and embarrassing.
     


    There was a mod a while back that added blueprints to the game for pretty much all of the settlement objects.  I tried it out and ditched it pretty quick.  It sounds like it would be a great idea but gets very annoying very quick.  I ditched it after getting Preston and gang to Sanctuary.  I couldn't build them a beds, I couldn't build them water pumps, I couldn't build anything.  Probably best to just stick to the realism materials cost instead of blueprints too.

    Good start.

    Now I'd like to see a realistic recipe for a laser turret.
    Let's see, it's got, first of all, a laser. (Let's see a random person make a laser out of tin cans.)
    And precision mechanical components. (More tin cans.)
    And a targeting computer. (Made of tin cans. Plus "circuitry." )
    And sensors. (Made of old coke bottles.)
    And targeting software. (Probably also made of old coke bottles.)
    And the whole thing takes less than a minute from start to finish, requires no experience, design or blueprints, and it's guaranteed to work.

    I think the EZ-Krafting system was stupid in the first place, then Bethesda did a thoughtless, lazy job of it. There, I said it.

    I've considered making a mod called "Not Every f*#@ing Thing Is Craftable," eliminating almost all the recipes. It would be easy - just delete, delete, delete...

    OH HEY, I see you DID make a mod with less-unrealistic recipes for turrets. (I was just using turrets as a random example.) Again - good start. But TBH it would still be borderline impossible to make automated weapons systems out of 200 yr old scrap.

    Maybe you could salvage whole, damaged turrets, and repair them with the sorts of components you listed, but to make them from scratch? Not Every f*#@ing Thing Is Craftable, lol.

      Funnily enough, if you examine the turret meshes it's literally a laser rifle/missile launcher/combat shotgun stuck on a vice-grip, mounted on an axle hooked up to a rotating motor with a tripod, lol.

      Wasteland ingenuity. At least there Bethesda didn't give the SS too much credit.

    I like what you are doing, and I honestly think the game should have been shipped this way, but I'm waiting on the AIO, cause I know it will be great.

    I haven't downloaded this mod just yet, but you've been catching my eye lately. I wanted to say that I do love the concept.

    I feel like I would probably get the most out of this in a fresh game combined with another mod that reduces the amount of loot available in the wasteland.

    I'm not one that is particularly fond of making alts, but... your mods are calling. I'm tracking for now, but I can tell you're working to something very big. I'll likely hold off downloading until you get a large, consolidated patch! Godspeed sir!

      I just started learning the CK this week, so right now I'm still feeling my way through everything, but yes I would like to do something more comprehensive once I'm over the learning curve.
