    IF YOUR GAME IS CRASHING:

In the options before installing when they ask about the AKWR or VANILLA option. Choose the vanilla option. This stopped my game from crashing

Do you use the Pip-pad mod? I think that's why cause I can't either.

Late reply, but if pip pad is the culprit (and it probably is) you can change which slot the pip pad takes through the MCM. I find that the ring slot is a safe choice. I'm really over Nora, and the wedding ring is pretty much the only other thing that uses that slot.

Conflict with Pipboy, there is a safer modification method, the model files of Sonic Earpiece and Vanguard Headgear, replace the model files of the other two glasses

Ive tried to change the pip-pad slot to the ring (51) which doesnt seem to effect the pippad in anyway but still not able to equip sonic and vanguard. Is there something else you need to change other than the 51?

What is the proper load order for tactical flashlight to work?

Also besides ARMORSMITH and AWKCR mod, what are other dependencies required for tactical flashlight to work?

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Oh my freakin' lord. Whoever's in charge of updating the description of this mod REALLY needs to get their butts to work. It's honestly not that hard to update the location of this particular item!!! It took me almost forever to find where it is!

For those of you who are as frustrated as I was when I couldn't find this item, you have to first go to Sanctuary or any settlement, then craft this thing called "ARMORSMITH WORKBENCH", again ARMORSMITH << not Armor Workbench from the Vanilla. Armorsmith Workbench can only be crafted if you've installed Armorsmith Extended mod. Keep in mind you have to have Engineering perk at least to level 1 to be able to craft this workbench.

Once you've crafted this workbench, find "Headgear - Headbands" if you want to craft Vanguard's Headgear or Sonic Earpiece. I haven't looked further as to where to find the rest of the flashlights, but there you go!

It's NOT under Chem Station - Utility or whatever the heck they're saying it's at! I'm sorry if this sounds ranty, but it's frustrating to know a mod page isn't updated properly especially if that mod is ACTUALLY good and working!

Also, make sure that you install Pip-Boy Flashlight mod, and THEN No Pip-Boy light mod. These two mods are mandatory so that the lights actually work. If you don't install these two then you'll still have your vanilla-style pip-boy light and this mod then would pretty much be useless. These two mods definitely should've been added to "Nexus Requirements" list.

God amongst men, thank you for this post.

I was wondering if I had done something wrong or the load order was borked.

The other helmets are under Hats, which is right above headbands. Didn't see the shoulder one, but I won't be using this mod anyway; I like the Pip-Pad too much, and it breaks the only headlamp I actually like the look of.

When reinstalling another installed mod, a crash may occasionally occur with a mod that has overlapping load priorities. It would be good to be careful.

Love your mod just one issue i have with it, when crouching and with some modded weapons, there's this artifact that appears in first person off to the side, looks like black plastic or rubber so i assume it's a model from this mod, it also goes away when i remove the sonic earpiece flashlight

      I've discovered a fix!
simply trimming some geometry that is usually obscured by the model has repaired the issue
      screenshot here
the culprit is highlighted in black

      Starts out looking like this
      screenshot
The cable from the flashlight portrudes inside the ear cup
In outfit studio, trim and stretch the model until it looks like this,
      screenshot
the flashlight cable is now barely poking into the ear cup
then export the file back onto SonicHeadlampF.nif
i've also restored the old screenshot files but with the way image uploading is like, it's necessary to also make written descriptions.
