Hey man love the mod! I was looking for a good grenade mod for my biotech build and this was perfect! The only thing that i noticed that was off was the visual effect of the grenades exploding (for example the Acid and Poison grenade). The cloud is far to large and if you use them in buildings or any kind of interior you can only see a small part of the cloud (like the Poison Grenade). Other than that this mod is fantastic!!

Great mod, I found your Proximity Grenades mod thanks to an Al Chestbreach video and saw the link to this one when I went to install it today. Love all the expanded options. Question though, why doesn't the throwing arc work like it does with vanilla grenades? With grenades from this mod the arc only goes like 3 feet in front of my character with a big circle showing where it would stop. It still flies properly, I just have a big green circle in the middle of my FOV while trying to throw them. Would it be possible to fix that or is it some limitation with the engine? Not sure if everyone has this issue but I could provide a screenshot if it would help.

I've seen it, but I don't know what causes it it seems a bit random when I see it. did you see it with any specific grenade that you saw it with?

I just tested a bunch of the grenades and it only seems to happen with the proximity version. I didn't have the resources to try everything but of every one I tested the impact and timed versions had the normal arc and every proximity one had the big green circle. Do the proximity ones work properly for you?

I don't know why proximity grenades are causing it. I've compared projectile and weapon data for proximity and impact and nothing it different that would cause it. I tried changing the detonation type and it didn't change a thing. unless someone else can see something wrong I can't fix it.

Damn, that sucks. So do the proximity ones work properly in your game or do you also have the circle? Just wondering if this is a widespread issue or if it's more likely to be something on my end that may be fixed with a re-download/re-install or some load order tweaking. Thanks for taking a look though.

Edit: Also, since you asked for ideas in your sticky, I thought it would be pretty cool to have the FO3 version of Nuka Grenades added in. It could just use the old recipe of a tin can, Quantum, Abraxo, and turpentine. The effect could maybe be like a toned down version of the Nuka Nuke explosion from Nuka World.

Saw this on JR Mods channel: https://youtu.be/Bkc8YfPA3qs?t=3m51s

Proximity grenades are an awesome idea. Definitely going to be trying this out just for them.

Nice updates for the times, that looks pretty good.

Can I ask if there is a level that the effects could stop at. Hullucigen frenzy grenades had an issue that once you got to the higher levels the effect did not work. Some mods make modifications to level maximums and just put it at 999 to cover all the late game players. Do your grenades have a max level or do with work with any NPC regardless of the level.

    Thanks!

It's the same as the normal ones.

didn't know about the level limit for a lack of a better word. I've never used the normal ones.

This looks great. Just a comment about Frenzy. Once an enemy becomes frenzied it usually takes 10 to 15 seconds for other non frenzied enemies to hunt for and find the new frenzied NPC. If the frenzied effect only lasts for 10 seconds that will pretty much be a waste of the grenade IMHO. The only way this would work would be to throw it into a large group of people but that situation does not arise very often. Also for 10 seconds that will allow for maybe one shot before the effect wears off.

I have used a lot of frenzied mods that get posted and the best ones are where the effect lasts for 90 or 120 seconds. This lets you frenzy some enemies and sneak around watching them fight it out for a minute before they either die or return to normal.

Good luck with the mod and thanks for creating and posting this.

I've made the frenzy 60 seconds now.
