Please post an exact summary of your ini changes. Otherwise, this is just another file in the already long list of "helpful" ini changes that either do nothing or do more bad than good.
To anyone who has had that crashing issue. Try modifying the INI file by putting it on windowed (Disable borderless and fullscreen) and use a different supported aspect ratio IF NECESSARY FOR YOU. I use 800x450. I dont know what causes the crash but this is what worked for me and i have 40+ frames consistently. Should anybody find out the exact tweak that fixes it i'll stick around. Not willing to try to find it myself.

I haven't been able to play 4 since Jan '16. Some update just made the game stop working for me entirely. The 1 in 100 times I could get it to launch that is the texture problem I've encountered.
Funny thing is that up until that point I had over 280 hours in the base game. I would crash around Corvega but that was a heavy load for even PCs that could run the game on Ultra.
