honestly, make it so it fires liberty primes nukes instead. otherwise there is no reason for it, you can shoot the mini nukes yourself straight in the enemies head..
Well i mean, its constructive criticism, as it stands right now this mod doesn't really do anything other than change the ammo type you see for a split second. Changing to a liberty prime nuke would not only make this mod actually interesting it would add a genuinely interesting item to the game.
Bitching about criticism is one of the stupidest things i see in this sub, stop acting like every mod is perfect, all it does is create mod authors so sensitive to criticism they take throw a hissy fit anytime anyone reports a bug.
Redoing this mod to use liberty prime nukes would make this mod genuinely better, sure, MrVein could do it himself, hell, anyone with creation kit could probably do it in 10 minutes, its easy as f*#@ to change ammunition type, but giving the mod author the change at least lets the dude keep credit for what he attempted to do here.
this is actually very useful in Survival just because you don't have the need for it doesn't mean the mod author should change it. in survival a mininuke weighs around 5 pounds + a fatman around 30 pound, a fat man with only 20 ammo would be over 130 lbs. while 20 signal grenades weigh around only 10 lbs see the difference?
Well this does do more damage than the regular artillery piece, so it is not simply a different sound and visual and is a more deadly and advanced weapon, but I will look into the liberty prime nukes. Also, do you think I should increase the defense bonus it give to the settlement since it does more damage than a regular artillery piece?
I made the liberty prime nuke launcher: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16095/? It provides more defense for your settlement and does even more damage at the expense of requiring a larger amount of resources to build.
I LIKE THE NUKE OPTION,BIG EXPLOSIONS ARE MY THING. ONE SUGGESTION .IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THE BARREL ,COMPARED TO THE PROJECTILE, IT MAY LOOK BETTER IF IT LAUNCHED MULTIPLE NUKES AT SAME TIME. AS I SAID,I LIKE BIG EXPLOSIONS.THANKS FOR YOUR MOD.
I did originally try multiple nukes at once, but it lead to a rather inaccurate weapon and there was an issue if you threw out multiple artillery grenade markers where it would fire one shot, but some nukes would land at the old marker and some would land at the new marker while the piece was aimed at only one of those markers.
I don't think it would, in fact I believe that the changes his mod make would actually work with the artillery piece, meaning the mini nukes from the artillery piece would do double damage and have double sized explosions.

Option: They cost a MiniNuke shell to build, and will be damaged after use, requiring a new MiniNuke to repair.
