Love this mod, but how did you get it to work with the revolver overhaul mod? I can't seem to get the fanning to work on this revolver. It works on the vanilla .44 though.
Yeah , I did it previously in a test with the laser gun nif, but it was a mes, the reloading worked but the weapon size was like half of the character body, so though was better to do ir with the .44 vanilla
Yeah, I have the new grip/textures but the sights still are very low compared to the point of impact. I have to aim at the upper torso for a head shot.

But anyway, you'd have to unpack the sounds from the game's BA2 archives, or look for them online, I guess, if you're a lazy 'slob' of a modder, and replace them with the two sound files from this mod and change the file names to whatever they are in this mod or there will be no sound at all. If the duration is greatly longer, it will likely end abruptly when firing repeated shots fast.

So I use a version of this mod through Bethesda net because it comes with an op variation of the gun but I'm finding the gun on raiders everywhere and I wanted to know if you could maybe make some sort of edit or patch so I can still have that op variation but remove it from the enemy weapon lists?
Virtually every complaint I see in the forums ad nauseum are things that people can fix and tailor to EXACTLY what THEY think it should be themselves with little to no effort required. FO4Edit, a tool any user who installs even a single mod should have installed and in their mod users toolbox.
Lets be real here, this is a 4 year old mod that hasn't been updated.......... That shouldn't be confused with it's a 4 year old mod so I can't use it.......
Example:The damage base on the Smith & Wesson 500 is what? 250? Damage base on this revolver is what? 60? See what I mean there...... BTW, it takes no more than 2 minutes tops to do either or both of what you are asking for - tops - and you have the mod the way YOU want it - which might not be how other users of the mod want it.
Mod users need to empower themselves - the modders do the vast majority of the dirty work - petty things like "this does too much damage" or it is or isn't in a leveled list are things mod USERS need to tailor to how THEY play the game.
I have just found a powerful version of this revolver at level 1 in the bag near the minutemen statue just behind the bridge in Sanctuary. The level list integration for this weapon is completely out of whack. And don't tell me to change this myself as level list integration is hard to understand for uninitiated. Also this sort of breaks my immersion in a new playthrough as what am I now to do? Pretend I dont have this weapon? I like the model of this revolver and would like to use it but this issue needs resolving.
