LOL, I never thought about not needing a bottle to craft them. That's a good fix, almost/maybe worthy of the UFO4P.

MY BIG COMPLAINT about Molotov crafting is that it uses so much fuel and oil. Maybe it's realistic (whatever that means in FO), but oil is a limited resource, needed for crafting other, more essential things. To me it's just not worth using such valuable stuff to make Molotovs, which aren't all that powerful anyway. So I've never done it. If -I- were to change the recipe, I think I'd make it so you got several Molotovs per unit of oil. (So maybe 1 oil, 4 bottles, 1 cloth + some other stuff = 4 Molotovs.) And even at 4:1, I'm still not sure I'd "waste oil" crafting them.

Maybe my opinion is out of whack with other people's experience, though. I use some loot reduction mods, so maybe oil is more rare for me than for others.

Wait... Did you say crafting Bottlecap Mines doesn't require bottlecaps? smh

Gday PaddyGarcia, I agree about the limited resources, I too use a loot reduction mod (Fallout Loot Overhaul - which for me works perfectly, current game is 300hrs and loot is not common but can find enough to use).
I never made molotovs because of the 2 x Adhesive and oil, like you I didnt want to waste them, hence the 1 x Adhesive and oil, I added the Flamer Fuel because (for me) I was just collecting flamer fuel to sell, so now there is another use for that - plus molotovs must need a good accelerate.
I find Molotovs reasonably effective for the resources used to make them (similar to another type of grenade) compared to resources needed to make a Frag Grenade.
And yeah, I just couldn't craft a Bottlecap Mine without using Caps.

I use the same mod. I agree, it's pretty good.

IDK, maybe use flamer fuel instead of oil? Or maybe I should just go make my own mod and shut up.
