Pugilist: Who needs guns when you have your fists? Unarmed attacks deal 20% more damage, but all guns recieve a 10% damage reduction, and are 10% less accurate in Vats.
Master swinger: Home run! Blunt melee attacks have a 10% chance knocking their target off their feet, but power attacks cost more.
Hollow Bones: You sneak better and sprint 15% faster than normal, but reduces carry weight by 50, and bones break faster.
Erratic: Automatic weapons have a 10% chance to stagger their targets. However, automatic weapons have more 10% recoil and are less accurate in vats.
Iron Grip: All guns have 15% recoil but you reload them 10% slower.
Team player: Companions (including dogmeat!) deal 10% more damage and reduces damage taken, but you suffer -1 to all SPECIAL stats whenever you are travelling alone.
Jagged skin: 15% of damage taken is reflected to melee attackers and reduces damage from explosives by 10%, but due to your ugliness, speech checks are less likely to succeed.
Glutton: Bonues from foods last longer, but gets hungry more often than normal.
Grave Robber: Dead enemies carry more loot, but reduces lock picking 'sweet spot'.
Tough Bodied: Your bones are 15% stronger, and you take 15% less damage. However, you are more likely to be addicted to chems and alcohol.
Fencer: En Garde! Swords and knives attack 10% faster, but Critical Damage is reduced by 10%.
Trait name: Maniacal Bomber Effects: All of your explosives do an increased 15% damage and a 25% increase in blast radius, however you now take 30% increased damage from all explosives! Notes: This trait is mainly good for someone whos character is based on explosives and it makes them more tactical on how they play, or you could always just carpet bomb the enemy and hope no one lobs one back
Trait name: Mechanist Effects: You are the robot master! Aggressive Robots have a chance to become friendly and attack other enemies when you attack them, but since your so used to machines your not so good with people. 25% chance to charm an enemy robot when you attack it increases by 10% with each rank of robotics expert, -3 in charisma Notes: You can change these effects to be more balanced or if its too difficult to program you can just make it so you do increased damage to robots instead
Trait name: Salvager Effects: You get more parts back when scrapping settlement objects, requires scrapper lvl2 Notes: You can also make it so instead you find more machine parts and/or metal parts from destroyed machines and robots and you can also change the requirements and add penalties if you wish
Trait name: Walking Tank Effects: You love your power armor and cant go without it! +1 in strength and agility as well as 10% damage resistance to everything while in power armor, however the opposite when your out of power armor -1 in strength and agility as well as -10% damage resistance to everything Notes: I feel like this would be a good trait if your character relies on power armor and/or is with the brotherhood and has a good penalty to go along with it
Trait name: All Sticky! Effects: It is easier to find adhesive around the commonwealth however it is tougher to find other components Alternative trait: Trait name: Sticky Lovers! Effects: Vendors are more likely to have adhesive components and have more of them however all adhesive is more expensive and buy and sells for more Notes: i included this alternate trait if you have difficulties changing the drop rates of components around the commonwealth however if you can do both you can add both if you'd like for a unique sticky Fallout 4 experience XD
You can change the names/values or effects around however you may like these are mostly just ideas but i think they're pretty balanced If youd like me to brainstorm any more ideas just tell me and i will, also if you have suggestions for ideas to brain storm tell be and ill try. I honestly wanna help greatly improve this mod and support it as i feel that it could become a pretty popular mod! and your also amazing for creating this mod in the first place!
Also as a side note is it possible for you to create weapons, attachments for existing weapons or other tings cause if have some nice ideas that would be great as a separate mod :3 Edit: Actually some of the weapon mod ideas i have could go together and be unlocked when you have a specific trait, so they culd work with this mod. Just an idea :3 (BTW i made an account just to comment and suggest traits :3 also i love robots if you could'nt tell)
No problem man! And I'll keep making ideas in the morning, it's late here so I'm gonna go hit the hay. Also if you have any info on what you can or can't do with the traits it'd be great to know so I have a more understandable frame on what to make the traits like. Also if you feel like there are too many of a kind of trait or there are kinds of traits that you wanna make more of such as weapons, roleplay, stats, building, scavenging, etc. let me know and I'll use it for when I'm brainstorming ideas
