I've just installed this mod and I'm very pleased with it. I've tried some other very good mods to restore Sanctuary, but wound up with conflicts I couldn't trace to their source. So far I haven't had any problems with this mod (I used the "no shed" version.) I rather like the fact that the roofs still look worn; that seems about the right stage of repair. Thank you for adding an asset to the game.
will these roofs filter out rain effects cause? I noticed unless I add roofs to buildings via the workshops workbench that rain leaks through... I found concrete tiling most effective...
Hey man, I was wondering is you could possibly make it where certain roofs were still removable. Because, In spring cleaning you are able to scrap the roofs though, in this one you aren't. Do you think you might be able to make a Spring Cleaning patch?
I don´t think the npcs care about that. They will also sleep in a bed without any roof above it and still don´t complain. It seems to me they don´t react to the weather at all.
@Grands4everyone: The roofs are seen by NPCs as protecting from rain, regardless of being repaired. Reparaired roofs are primarily aestethic and don't influence happiness either way.
@Ertwander:
Yes they do care. Put all settler's beds outside in the open and happiness will drop. Sturges also remarks that at least they have a roof over their head right at the start when arriving in Sanctuary with Preston's Wild Bunch and having added beds in one of the surviving houses. Sturges complains when you add beds in the open.
Still haven't seen the mod "in action," just the screenshots; I like how it looks as if the shock wave blasted the roof tiles off down to the tar paper.
