My characters tend to use 5mm ammo as currency; about the only time I actually use it as minigun ammunition is in Concord at the start of the game. Similarly, I tend to only use combat rifles if I find ones with good legendary effects, and when I can upgrade them to a .308 receiver. This mod makes both the 5mm ammo and combat rifle more viable and interesting to use. The only quirk or bug I've noticed so far is that the rifle gets named a .38 automatic, but that's not really anything to worry about. Thank you for this mod, which deserves far more downloads.
