    Hello,

    Just a few things...
    1. I LOVE THIS
    2. I am a gun nut, and I write ballistics code for ArmA III modders, so I spend a lot of time with bullets, A LOT of time.

    That being said....

10mm - Well the only modern 10mm round I am aware of if the H&K 10mm Auto, its a pretty potent handgun round, not very popular, but its got more power than .40 S&W so I would suggest naming it either H&K 10mm Auto or just 10mm Auto, either or gets the point across.

.38 - This can easily misconstrued as .380 ACP, I believe this is actually .38 Special due to the characteristics, and yes there is quite a difference between .380 ACP and .38 Special.

.45 - This is pretty damn simple, this is .45 ACP, not GAP, or Long Colt. Saying .45 Auto is good enough here is kind of correct, except for the whole .45 GAP (Glock Automatic Pistol) which can also encompass the "Auto" branding, I suggest .45 ACP.

.44 Round - .44 Remington Magnum, I suppose its ok to just call it .44 Magnum, as its the only MODERN used .44 Magnum round (there were more in the 1800's), if you wish to get technical it would still be .44 Remington Magnum, but .44 Magnum I believe would suffice.

5mm - Ok here is where there is a TON of confusion and its understandable, However based on the fallout world and the history of the round, the fact it is linked, I believe this is actually based on the "wildcat" 5mm/35 SMc round (I will provide a reference link). The reasons why I believe this is the round are...
    1. Its an extremely heavy taper and a wide base, thus you would want to belt feed it for combat purposes.
    2. The round itself was designed for, light weight, low recoil, low heat, and super high velocity, thus making it perfect for a man portable minigun.
    Reference Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5_mm/35_SMc

5.56 - Another very simple one, this is 5.56x45mm NATO NOT .223 Remington, do not get me going on this, I have seen people blow up receivers in real life by using 5.56 in a .223 dedicated rifle, they are 2 different rounds, just like .308 and 7.62x51mm NATO.

.308 - pretty simple stuff here, as much as I want it to say 7.62x51mm NATO, .308 is a different round, same goes for the .223/5.56 debate, and I can go on a rant with that. All this needs to be is .308 Winchester, done.

Shotgun Shell - 12 Gauge 00 Buckshot, no changes needed here, pretty simple stuff.

.50 Caliber - This is tricky, there are handguns in the game that shoot this as well as bolt guns, the thought is well .50 BMG, but try shooting that from a handgun, its just not possible. In all honesty until the GECK comes out or someone finds a workaround .50 BMG will have to suffice due to the damages it does in game.

Just my 2 caps worth, take it for what it is.

Great info. However, I would have to throw a wrench into the .50 Caliber argument. The in-game texture for the .50 Caliber box says 290 grains on the side. You and I both well know that .50 BMG is way above that number. This has to be a handgun .50 caliber cartridge, closer to maybe a .50 AE or such. I know we all want it to be .50 BMG... so I guess we can just ignore that... and pretend it is, lol.

the 5mm rounds in game could possibly be 5mm remington rimfire magnum (5mm RRM) or the 5mm Craig round both are designed as hunting rounds but it wouldnt take much to belt feed them. if we can belt feed .22LR then we can belt feed just about anything with a little tinkering. the cases for these are alot closer to the ones in game fired from the minigun than the 5mm/35 SMc round which have an extreme taper

Just so you know, you have the .45 round listed as ".45 APC" in the description; as a previous poster has stated, the round should be ".45 ACP" instead.

How did you go about doin this? I'd like to change the .38 to .380 and the .44 Mag to .357 Mag.If you got the time could make an optional file for this setup? If not no worries. Thanks!

Yeah, especially with the in-game model being so tiny, I think the .38 are more .380 rounds than .38 special.

It's definitely intended to be .38 Special. There's even a revolver on the vanilla Ammo Box texture.

Also, the game just doesn't really represent things in the correct scale. The in game 5.56 case looks absolutely tiny compared to the .38 case>

Good stuff here I made a few edits that remove all the 'cartridge' or 'shell' from the names to keep them short and normalized (they are under [Ammo] after all, we know what they are talking about). Also fusion cell did not need to be in there. It was a IDM. Here it is: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=01247211919818327640

Just to let you know: Nexus Mod Manager won't install this to the correct path; it extracts the string-files in Data, instead of Data\Strings

As far as I know that is the Mod Manager fault and they are trying to fix it

This is no longer an issue with the mod changed into an esp file.
Awesome work! I have it installed now and it works beautifully alongside Full Dialogue.

Not that the mod is bad, it does what it is supposed to. It just really sucks that there isn't a good way to combine the many mods that make changes to the STRINGS files. Full dialogue and Better Item Sorting will always take precedence imo.

There is a new update to Fallout4Translator which will allow you to switch to the Full dialogue mode in a few minutes. The instructions are in the comments. I may later make versions that include theses other mods but I have to get permission first.

That will be amazing. I really want the full dialogue, better sorting, and something like this mod to all work together. I'll be watching for updates.

10mm should be .40 smith and wesson or .40 s&w., if we are going to use the "BMG" which is browning machine gun

No, it should be as it is. 10mm Auto, as used in the Bren Ten or Colt Delta Elite, is different to .40 S&W as used in the Glock 22 and 23.

Way cool! Also, thanks for listening to the gun folks and updating.
+1 to Nikolasqp for the .40 S&W suggestion.
