Could you please help me? Only Deathclaw eggs are dropped, but I don't know why... I haven't installed any other Deathclaw related mods, so why is this happening...?
Just discovered your mod...Know that I am well aware of the age of this mod, but...Is there a slim chance in Hell this mod could be taken to another level? Your egg if pristine, is an actual Deathclaw spawn! Once properly incubated in a heavily irradiated area in the Glowing Sea the egg hatches... Crossover mod and becomes a baby deathclaw...would be a nice tie in to said mod. Pushing your mod further and crossover with a Beast tamer mod scenario that turns into a difficult quest. The player is tasked with building a disciplinary school-like setting...and within a couple of months the Deathclaw becomes a companion that imprints on the player character? Loyal companion for life. Cementing the end of the quest with rigorous handling, training and education and the Deathclaw becomes an intelligent NPC.
Perhaps, with your permission I could figure out how to create this quest mod if you hold no interest in pursuing these suggestions?
I don't use this mod in my load order, but it helped me learn how to edit enemy drop tables in xEdit. Downloaded it and cracked it open to check it out. Thanks for that.
This is awesome! Much appreciated. However is there any possibility you could make it compatible with Valdacil's Item Sorting mod? He labels the Pristine Deathclaw egg as a quest item and as a result I can't use them to cook with. Not sure if you can fix that on your end or if he would need to fix it on his end.
I believe that the only recipe that can use pristine deathclaws is the tasty omelette, which is basically a one time craft. A possible fix is to load my mod before his, which should keep his item labels and still apply my leveled list. I also think I labeled mine as (Unique) rather then as {Quest}, I can and will look into this shortly once I get more time
Okay, so I ran through the Devil's Due quest and was able to craft the tasty deathclaw omelette no problem. Just to be sure, you have done that quest right? Pristine deathclaw eggs can only be used to make the one specific recipe that is given silently at the end of that quest.
If you have done it, I'm not sure what else to say. It seems to work on my end. If you gain any more insight into this let me know, as if something is wrong I would love to fix it.
I was just adding this mod to a list of underrated/underappreciated mods and realized I never replied back. If I remember correctly it was idiocy on my part and I was able to make omelettes with deathclaw eggs from this mod. I haven't actually played the game in like 5 months, I've just been mod testing so my memory on it is a little fuzzy. >.<
