i added a HD texture for the long johns. i made them faded red, like the long johns you see all over the place. i know it sounds wierd, faded red is basically pink, but once the red dye in the long johns would fade, thats what youd be left with. the faded red look fits perfectly with the overall look of the mod armor. try it, im sure youll agree.
i also added a retexture to the normal map for the mod armor, its doubled in size now, and it looks much, much better. less choppy, more crisp, and not quite as bumpy as the normal map in the initial release. (that first image with the smiley mask has the new normal map)
you cats can help me out by uploading images, the ROH page has me running in circles trying to get everything to work right, so i dont really have time to add more images for this mod.
The only standalone mod here on Nexus that gives a worn out and rusty texture to the armor. I have found for clothes but those are just meh but this on the other hand is great work. Endorsed!
"[vanilla is] 1k for helmets, 2k for clothing and armor. my raider armor here is 10k, with (now) 10k normal maps. my helmets are 4k, and my clothing is 4k. the reason the raider armor is so large is because every single piece of the raider armor, all of it, is on one texture. the 6 light chest pieces, the medium and heavy chest pieces, the light medium, and heavy legs and arms, all of it comes from the same 1 texture."
Here's a lower res version, maximum 2k https://mega.nz/#!0YBlmZIS!JALER3YKV8YPJ_R3gs9pv9dxX4iEp-3s0OAJQ4XKgeQ All BC textures that aren't BC1 are now BC1, so tell me if anything like transparency looks fooped up. It saves a whole lot of disc space.
I can't find the link because I've had it on my drive for a long time now, but there's actually a program that can take bulk textures and decently accurately cut the dimensions in half - after that it only takes a little while sorting through them manually in www.getpaint.net (a free alternative to photoshop) to make sure everything still looks right. If I find it I'll let you know ArcherDown.

Excellent, I've a belter of a rig but I find 4K textures just stand out so badly against everything else in the world, so badly they look odd so I end up avoiding them even though my PC handles them easily. This is just the ticket, most appreciated
No problem! Hey, you should look into GraFix Texture Overhaul, it sharpens and cleans up every single texture in the game. It's no 4K but it's certainly better than pasty vanilla. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1764/?

It works well with all the 2k textured mods.
