I have not played Fallout 4 or touched CK in over 5 years now. I have no idea what updates the game has received in that time and can not provide any reliable troubleshooting for the mod, I also had a stroke in the meantime and typing has become a problem for me, so the comment section is now locked. Sorry.
-- There is a mod conflict with Depravity - A Harmless Bit of Fun resulting in Nick being stuck in his chair in the office. Thanks to Nightreaven for that report and, per their advice, you can avoid the issue if you "clear Kellogg story with the Depravity storyline first before getting Nick".
-- If anything inside is out of place - floating boxes, out of place file cabinets, etc - exit the game, place my mod as the VERY last in your load order, try again. All should be well after that.
Love this mod, makes a huge change Thanks for making it Btw, mods plays well with many mods, DLC, I value clean simple designs are best ..its a keeper for my game
One of the first mods that I installed a long time ago. Glad to see it works well again. I really like how cozy the office looks after your clean up. Take care!
I decided to do other things before taking on the main storyline, and was around level 60 before I saved Nick, arrived at his office, and found him in the wrong chair. He simply won't begin the interview that gets the Sean storyline started if he's in the wrong chair, and I tried everything--sleeping a week in the basement in hopes the cell would reset, using the console to >try< to delete the chair--nothing.
And I'm wondering if this mod was responsible.
BTW, there's a floating box of files, too. And a potted plant upstairs clips through cinderblocks, but trying to disable the blocks only disables the plant.
All in all, the improvements to the office weren't that impressive and, if given another chance, I'd pass on this, just in case.
You have mod conflict. When i tested it with plugin at bottom it was ok. After loot changed position many elements ware mixed with vanila with floating boxes.
love the mod, good idea. but...have you seen any respectable PI's office? any detective worth their salt is usually working cases (sometimes at the same time), and their secretaries (if they have one., most end up getting one) are too busy worrying and filing...files... to clean up!
P.S. in case you couldn't tell, I'm poking fun at you. seriously great mod though!
Where, inside the office? That's a tiny space. Precombining is perfectly optional in a cell that small. Or are there wild edits outside in Diamond City proper?
Yes - exactly that! Bethesda doesn't seem to understand that people can actually clean after themselves - no, let's just vomit some random trash all over the place, everywhere. Even on Prydwen - Prydwen! - there are random scraps of paper and trash lying around. And even locations which have explicit characters explicitly cleaning and sweeping still have trash lying around :|
Just because it's a post-apocalyptic world doesn't mean you can't make your post-apocalyptic shack nice and cozy.
Well said! I totally agree, I think Bethesda people forgot that it's been over 200 years since the chaos of the war and bombs, so survivors had more than enough time to clean up most of the mess... especially in places like Prydwen - being a military vessel it should be spotlessly clean.
Would love more from you like Publick Occurrences.
I feel that trash not only should be cleaned up but in some cases seem it would be a MUST CLEAN UP. Why? Mutated rodents insects etc roam the world, would people really want to risk attracting mole rats to their homes? We know rats and mice love to visit homes in real life I imagine mole rats would be more aggressive versions. I feel most of the survivors outside maybe raiders would feel a need to clean up, learn to fortify with concrete to keep out bugs and rodents etc or end up dead. It seems only people in the world that could realistically exist are BOS, Institute, Rail Road and Vault dwellers, the rest like DC would all be dead.
Amen to that. With all the garbage, corpses and heads on spikes in pretty much every corner of the city, pests and diseases would kill most of FO4's denizens much more efficiently than radiation ever could.
Most of my games I play Female haracters, and would be nice if U add bed for 2 people ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7400 )
Its nice to have Romance with Nick Valentine ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13717 ) and BE his girl ;p ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26808?tab=description )
So after all We can be a not only Nick partner in the bedroom, but also as detectiv https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/26808-0-1505520076.png :)
All wat you need to do..... its change bed :D Any chance ? Please :)
Thanks for the kind words! As for your request... I can't make any promises. I don't really play the game anymore, I don't even have the CK installed, so even that simple change would require a lot of time that I currently don't have. If I happen to have a spare moment, I will do it, but again - no promises, sorry.

-- Interiors Enhanced - Darker Ambient Light and Fog: make sure to load my mod after that one to avoid weird lighting inside the office. Thanks to SturmBrightblade for this hint.
