      I love this mod and I want to use it more except the damage on the rifles are not well very high if you could please tweak the damage so that the base damage is 70 on the weakest receiver instead of the damage of the .50 cal receiver the amount of power behind a .50 cal is way more then a .308 so it should be able to stop a tank (aka what its built for) i would be happy if the damage on the .50 cal receiver was at least 150-175 but i would appreciate it if it was the lowest of 100 it would make it a lot more useful at the end of the game (aka what im currently playing) as a side note i would love to see the Mosin Nagant and a Traditonal Fallout3 Sniper Rifle just to truly give me that old world feel we all know and love P.s Huge fan of you mods I hope you dont take anything i say as an offense you truly are talented

      THANK YOU SO MUCH! I haven't been able to try if it actually works yet, BUT, I want this mod to work. If this works thank you, even if it doesn't work, thank you because I personally love the Mauser rifle variants. You are now my friend.

      I tweaked the ini files using the steps on IGN http://www.ign.com/wikis/fallout-4/How_to_Install_PC_Mods. Because I can't watch youtube in China lol. But the weapon don't spawn and type help "mauser98" 4 in console doesn't return anything useful. The other mods work properly. Does this mod conflict with other weapon mods? When I load the esp file b4 ModularKalash.esp, the game won't start at all.
      Please help.

      I know that you may not update often but with the mod puts the bolt on the right side for the hunting rifle that maybe you can change the model

      So I have changed the damage but now the gun is invisible. How do I fix this? It a great mod and I really want to use it.

      this would be one of the best weapon mods ever but the lack of right handed bolt animations really triggers my autism.

      I'm a bit late for the party, but I'd like to second a mirrored rendition of this rifle.
      The details are outstanding, but the bolt does not action from the let in reality lol.

      (Still, very nicely done.)

      I've got the same problem too, but without the window popping up. I get nothing on the list when I get to "mau" as I'm typing

      Be sure, that the Family Mauser is set as active file

      Try selecting "Items" or any of the categories on the left hand side. I had the same problem until I clicked on items, then all of the Mauser files showed up. Hope it works for you.

      Yea I figured out you had to click on all before typing in mauser otherwise nothing would show up! Thank you so much!

      Hi I'm loving the mod but recently started using a mod that changes the bolt reload animation for the hunting rifle so it is on the right. I'm still able to use the gun no problems, but it would be nice to have the bolt be on the right side of the rifle so it matches up with the animation. Any chance that you could do that?

      When that happens (and it happens a lot on nexus), choose manual download. It sometimes works.

      Can you import the animation for the right handed rifle, and move the bolt to the right side from fo3? Your mod is very good, but I cant use it like it is. A realist in a make believe game. My bad.

      Hi, I´m waiting for a tutorial on custom animations now that we are able to add them, that reason and along I´m working on a bigger project are the reasons why I have no released nothing lately. Don´t worry about the anims, my intention is to do a proper anim for this.

      A right-handed animation mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19398/?) is available, so i wanted to ask, if you´d still consider to create a right handed version to go along with this?

    For all users that don´t like the sound here is a solution:
    There are 3 shot sounds in the weapon files, the only thing you have to do is change them with the fO4 edit or CK, the sound it uses by default is mauser shot 3. I don´t work with the FO4 edit, so i´ll tell how can you do it with the CK. First open CK, and select data, check fallout 4 esm and family mauser.esp and set the last one as active file. Now type mauser and scroll down until you see this:
    WPNmauser98FirePlayer, double click on this and select the sound, right click on it and delete, after that right click again select new, and choose wich sound do you want, save and close.

      Could you please do like a video tutorial please? I really don't get this creation kit s#*! and I'm pretty confused. Like where do I even type Mauser? A video tutorial for this would help ALOT!

    Nice overall but the reload animation (new clip) is broken - just puts nothing straight into the wood - immersion breaking :(

    I need help: i added the lines to ini files, i followed strictly every step in MO2, other mods are working but weapon mods... are not showing the model, they are simply invissible and also they dont have the shoot sound only the distant sound effect.

    please help im tired and have little time to play when i get back home from work and dont want to spend my time reading fixes and not being able to use mods :U XD help

    This would be the top of my favourite mods list if the gun wasn't useless late game.  I have to unload an entire clip to kill Super Mutants. Super lame. Bolt actions should kill in 1-2 shots. 
    A simple addition to have 20+, 40+, 60+, 80+, 100+ damage output moddable would make this perfect. Since I have no idea how to alter it myself looks like it's relegated to my armouries.

      I mean its a WW2 weapon in year 2287 where there are laser weapons , radiation guns , plasma explosives etc......give this weapon a break man xD

      Stanard Ammo for these rifles is 7.92x57 (8mm Mauser) its one of the largest rounds of a standard issue bolt action rifle. so it really should output more damage. also Ballistic weapons would always do the most damage out of any other platform, Laser radiation and plasma guns irl if they even could exist (they cant) would do less damage than a good ol fashion lead injection. just saying, cuz i take no issue in being "that guy"

      Then learn to fix it - and not only this mod but any mod you aren't satisfied with in the damage department.
      Don't be a quitter, quitters are lame.   All they do is sit in the corner and whine about what they don't have.
      Moreover don't be entitled, thinking mod makers need to make everything the way you want.   
      They make mods the way THEY want and let you use them.    

      If you can operate a Cell Phone, you can use FO4Edit.

    its a shame, we have every ww1-ww2 bolt gun on the nexus with 4k textures, custom sounds and animations, but the most popular bolt action in gaming and the world seems to be forgotten, bad textures, no anims, meh audio. its dissapointing really. im aware you can add STS and RHHR support through extra patches, but still. this mod should have been updated in the last 6 years.

    I love this mod, so I always install this.
    But something strange happens on the weapons workbench.
    A list of modifications of Kar comes from hunting rifles or some other gun modification windows.

    In the FO4EDIT, it is confirmed that there is no conflict.
    It doesn't mean it's a big problem, but it's bothering me.
    Is there a way to solve this?

    could you make a mauser pistol with a clip reload (every mauser pistol mod ive seen has an external mag reload for it)
