Wish this was more modular or had a version without any of the beneficial elements. I love about half of the changes, really love. But the other half like vendor changes etc make me unsure if I want to use this...
General merchants probably should sell shipments instead of individual scrap. Right now its way to cheap to buy normally expensive parts, so any incentive to exploring is gone. Also with contraption dlc and current prices making ammo is too easy, making Your work on ammo boxes obsolete. Still great mod.
Any plans on updating this? I really like this mod but after playing with it for some time i have noticed some oddities. For some reason there are hairbrushes and other unrelated content everywhere, especially in ammo containers and medical boxes. I think it would be better to simply reduce the amount of fitting content in these containers, rather than the chance that they contain it. less ammo and less medical equipment rather than unrelated stuff.
That was a workaround to deal with some bugs with locked empty containers, which can never appear in the vanilla game: ammo boxes and medboxes would be guaranteed to at least have some ammo and a stimpack, respectively.
It was supposed to be a placeholder but I ended up forgetting about it, I have a better idea on how to handle it now so expect an update to address this soon enough
I've balanced it with survival in mind. So long as you pay more attention to your inventory (i.e. don't expect to be out in the field indefinitely without going back to buy supplies from time to time) you should have no problems
Nice work. An idea could be to make pre-war weapons much rarer, so you would have to rely on crafted weapons at the start of the game, make it more exiting when you find a "real" gun. (maybe also remove 10mm gun in start vault 111) Would be very cool.
I like the idea of making pre war weapons harder to get early game (there's another mod that does something similar for power armor). I'd leave the 10mm alone, though. It's kinda traditional (see Fallout 1).
So they will have less ammo when dead but still infinite when they shoot at you ?
Could enemies be short in ammo ? Oh no, of course not, otherwise it will not be fun and too easy, it should be hard for the player but the same cosiderations should not impact ennemies.

Great mod otherwise
