found a solution, I deleted version 1.4 downloaded and installed version 1.3. (found this recommended via web search) scrap any power armor forges in game from 1.4,exit build mode, enter build mode and build fresh ones Then I used the vault tech population control terminal when programing (don't know if this had any effect) Next use the "sandwich" technic ex. power armor factory programing select armor piece helmet select x-01 production select armor piece helmet back out With the above pattern I've produced 2 complete x-01 sets with fusion cores and armor frames all at once with multiple machines all running from 1 switch and 1 power source.

scrap any power armor forges in game from 1.4,exit build mode, enter build mode and build fresh ones
Then I used the vault tech population control terminal when programing (don't know if this had any effect)
Next use the "sandwich" technic ex.
power armor factory programing
select armor piece helmet
select x-01 production
select armor piece helmet
back out
With the above pattern I've produced 2 complete x-01 sets with fusion cores and armor frames
all at once with multiple machines all running from 1 switch and 1 power source.
