Used this mod for MONTHS without issue. Absolutely adore it. It just makes the game so beautiful. But a week or two ago, when I went to play the game, it wouldn't even open. 3 Seconds in after launching and it crashes. Couldn't figure out the issue. Deleted the game, and all my mods and started from the top. Only to get to the point of re-installing this. Apparently, it doesn't work anymore? Any help or fixes would be much appreciated!
I didn't like the dark, so I downloaded it and applied it as described. Things found during play light up and then darken over and over again. I don't know why.
Just to be sure, we don't have to download ReShade do we? I see that there are ReShade files in your release, but do we need the Reshade program from reshade.me or whatever? Or are they "stand-alone" and not dependent on the ReShade framework?
If you have an SSD you can get some pretty high numbers. I'm not savvy enough to detail on the reality of this, but from what I briefly read the idea seems to be that some SSD space can be used as a sort of slow vram space. I haven't been able to experiment much with it since 8gb vram from my card means the difference between 8gb and the hard 10000 cap isn't much.
I didn't know that? I've had mine at 18000mb using the RAM + VRAM - 6 formula... has this been confirmed? I know some ENBs perform worse with VRAM above 8 or so, but I need to know if this is the case. Sometimes I'm wondering if textures aren't loading in high-res enough, but it could just all be in my head o_O
To the OP, don't set your VRAM that high. Like Jefferson said, it's counting space on your SSD. Setting it higher than your RAM & VRAM combined will make the game near-unplayable and probably cause it to crash whenever it goes over that amount.
I just can't get over how much better this ENB is than any of the others I have tried (all the most downloaded/endorsed) and required zero fiddling to be just how I like. It has really changed my overall game experience. Sure, it hasn't been updated in a while but it's simple, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
i was trying to make brighter version but i had to re tweak every individual value and fell of after a while then my hard drive died so looks like that's not happening i was also working on skyrim enb witch i will start working when i get the hard drive fixed when i have the money
I wish I could get this to work given the compliments I see here. I can run Decent and Subtle without any problem but this crashes to desktop after a brief black screen. Any suggestions?
sometime i get crashes booting it up for the first time this is usually a to many overlay thing so try disabling nvidia and discord and steam if there overlaying then don't click anything whilst booting up for a few good seconds then everything should settle and run fine
So I''ve been using this ENB since 2017. It's my favorite. Hoped back on to F04 and recently came onto a problem. The Institute is blindingly bright! Can hardly move around because I can't see. Don't have any lighting mods installed and using the current v0.355 ENB. Never had the issue before.
Update: Nevermind :). After some testing, figured out that "EnableAdaptation" had to be ticked on/set to "true" in ENB Settings to clear that issue.
Is this preset compatible with Vivid Weathers? I used to have this installed on my previous computer and really liked it! Now I'm using Vivid Weathers with Vivid ENB but the extravagant oversaturation really screws up any fruity hair colors. So I thought of turning back to this one but I really don't want to break my savegame uninstalling a weather mod. : /
Just found this nearing 2019. I have been missing out. This is a great all around ENB that doesn't over saturate colors and works well in all weather conditions. It even has a very subtle and accurate DOF that I actually don't mind using (I usually disable DOF). It is sharp while not pixelating the edge of grass and leaves. Combined with NAC it is a great experience that I will be sticking with. The screenshots, including my own, don't do it justice. Endorsed and highly recommended.
