Ok i finally got this to work after hours of fiddling around, actually restarted Hole in the Wall for it, but that was another bug where Curie kept going back to Vault 81. In the end i didnt use the mod at all.
Played till she got gave the quest (after her affinity went over 250, from tunring in the minuteman Corvega quest)
(Check affinity by going to console, click on her and enter [getav ca_affinity])
Finished her quest with setstage 0016454e 600
Then i set her affinity to 1100 [setav cv_affinity 1100].
Stole something, which she didnt like, so it set her affinizty a bit lower but the game still recognises this as her affinity being over 1k and thats when you can romance her. I used CHA gear and some Grape Mentats i crafted to make sure i have min 10 CHA (had 12 actually), to pass the romance speak checks.
Well i was super happy that she became my lover and was still my deadly, tanky, cute ball of joy :D (gonna try to up a screenie here after finishing this writeup.
After fast travelling to sanctuary she still kept nagging me about finding a body. Ah man i thought all was lost!
but then i came back here and found the reset quest command [resetquest 0016454e] and that did the trick!
3 second later and i talked to her, she let it slip she loved me and no more nagging about becoming human!
I must say i have not done Dangerous Minds yet, since i restarted everything and am not that far yet.. Ill update this if anything weird happens that triggers her quest anew...
Sadly it turns out the mod is not needed at all to achieve a romanceable robot curie, but maybe you can make a new mod or edit yours so it actually achieves this. thx!
For anyone who wants this to work right, the comment above is the guide you use! I followed his steps exactly and it worked flawlessly. For those of us who are not modders, THIS is the guide you use until someone can make the mod work right! So stop struggling and stop looking for help, this comment has EVERYTHING you need to do in it!
I initially liked this, but I have changed my mind about curie and want her as a human, unfortunately, I have used commands to cancel her quest, and I can't restart it with commands. Anyone got any fixes?
I got cure to affinity stage 250 but she keeps waning to talk to me, i assume to ask for a human body. I keep using the talk option and she just says "Is now a better time to converse" and the conversation ends. I can't use the talk option because of this. Does this fix when she reaches another level of affinity? pls respond
Apparently, you can't keep increasing her affinity until the quest is completed. I've been trying to find a fix for it, and I might have located one; now it's a matter of taking the time to make sure it works in a fully-legit run. I'm actually doing that right now. I've just encountered the "Is now a better time to converse?" bug, so I'm hoping to fix that as well.
I can see how these things work, and I might be able to rewrite that section of dialogue to silently finish the quest without the synth consequence, or if the affinity unlocking fix works, skip it altogether and just have the human-machine interface implications. Unfortunately, Fo4Edit is cumbersome when it comes to manipulating these things (Dialogue with responses now seems to be scenes, and pretty simple to work with, but Fo4Edit requires a lot of manual jumping about FormIDs), so I suspect it may finally be time to install Bethesda's launcher thing and make an account. Remember the good 'ol days when you could just download the Geck and run it, no fuss? Ah, that was the life.
Ideally, I'd like to alter the dialogue to allow you to choose whether Curie pursues being a Synth or stays a robot. Of course I'd also want to remove references to her being a Synth if you go down this path, but I'd like to get it technically functional first. Right now, that probably involves script editing, so I need the Creation Kit to do it.
You need the creation kit? That imply that you don't have it for some reason? This is a very interesting mod concept, I would have found it before this if it had curie or something in the title. ;)
Anyone care to confirm if this actually works? Near as I can tell it's a hilariously great idea, but doesn't work as affinity caps at 499 unless the quest this prevents from starting at all is completed.

Pity it couldn't be made to work as a compromise with Curie. A human body is a bit far-fetched. Far more practical if she settled for a human brain alone...
Hello, thanks for bug report, I will look into it. Didn't appear on test run, but I will try to start new game without mods to check if this is an issue. Meanwhile you can try to complete quest 'Emergent behavior' via console to circumvent this problem. Command SetStage 0016454e 600 should do it
By disabling your mod and then speaking with Curie to start Emergent Behavior before using the setstage command you have provided I was able to secure the desired end result, Mechanical Mrs. Protagonist. Which is hilarious while also more practically useful.
If the setstage command is used before Emergent Behavior begins, Curie is stuck trying to start a conversation that can't happen meaning not only are you never going to raise favor with them further but you will be unable to regain them as a companion if you change them out for any other.

I installed this mod but Curie keeps asking if it's a good time to talk when I talk to her but no dialogue interface opens.
