Is it possible to just add this power armor station? I actually like the crane type too for the T-45 and T-60, but would like to have one of this for the X-01
Err, why did you use an .esp for something that could have been done (much cleaner) with a simple mesh swap and rename?
If you aren't gonna do it that way, would you mind at least letting me know where the mesh is located at in the .bs2 archive? I still cannot find it...
I don't think a mesh swap is cleaner, and I'm kind of baffled that you do. With an ESP, installing and uninstalling the mod is a piece of cake, updating it is a breeze, and people can control whether or not they want the mod to be on at a particular time without descending four layers of folders.
If you want to mesh-swap for yourself, and I honestly can't fathom the reason why, it's at meshes.ba2\setdressing\parig\parig01.nif
Also, a mesh swap is MUCH "cleaner" for the following main reasons: 1) You can be sure no other mod will be overwriting it by virtue of being lower in the load order 2) Less plugins is always better, no matter the circumstance - it's just less for the game to load and parse. 3) Plugins right now are extremely hackjobed, and may contain any number of unknown errors.
For anyone who is going to use this, make sure you place it far from the wall. Your character has to work behind the station, so if there isn't room behind it, you won't be able to use the craft functionality.
I personally place these side-on to walls and have an armor line of sorts, with enough space in front of and behind each station to move armor in and out and to craft. It's interesting to note that Bethesda either didn't want to or couldn't solve the problem you mentioned-- every place these stations are in game, there's empty space behind them.
I should also say that there's a pretty good rule of thumb: With the empty space for crafting, these stations take up about as much space as two of the actual models themselves. You can place one against a wall and another against the station you've just placed, then store or scrap the first to get a good quick solution. Once you can see how far it should be, you can eyeball it.
Oh, thanks! I tried to find where the mesh was located but couldn't find it - it wasn't with the default armor station. Glad somebody else figured it out (we really need to get NifSkope working...).

EDIT: I figured it out when I found one in game, naturally. Never actually downloaded the mod. Found another mod that just lets you have both, though.
