    VERSION 5.12.1 UPDATE
    * Fixed some papyrus errors from appearing, again. NPC/Follower shields will not run unless you are within a certain distance from them.
    (These can not run unless you are in the same cell as the NPC's. My mistake on overlooking that.)

    * Shield depleted effect now disabled with no shield animations. Even on NPC death.
    * Adjusted my math on shield capacity upgrades.
    * Changed increase numbers for capacity mods. 4x each mod. 8, 16, 24, 32, 40
    * Changed how the damage reduction is handled, for everyone. Explosions now do damage to shields. Suicide nukers can and will depleted your shield. (Initially explosions did little to no damage)

    * More fall damage for everyone
    * Higher chance to be staggered for everyone.
    * Fixed an overlooked bug in WES/VIS files. Record was not updated for NPC shields.

    To update:
    Download and install.
    Remove mods from shields.
    Run all required or needed fix shield options for player, NPC's and Followers.
    (Suggested to run Fix NPC's shields afterwards while roaming around.)

    THAT IS A BIG TASK AT THE MOMENT AND I AM STILL WORKING ON MY OTHER MULTIPLE QUESTED MOD FOR SHIELDS THAT IS PLAYER/FOLLOWER ONLY. LESS INTENSIVE COMPARED TO THIS MOD. BUT LESS "SPECIAL ABILITIES". ONLY THREE.
    Should be released sometime this week.

    CONSOLE COMMANDS

    neoenergyshieldshud is for PLayer
    neoenergyshieldsfollowershud is for Follower

    Set Position
    cqf neoenergyshieldshud setpos <x value> <y value>
    cqf neoenergyshieldsfollowershud setpos <x value> <y value>

    Example:
    cqf neoenergyshieldshud setpos 10 10
    Set the HUD's current X & Y posiiton to 10

    Adjust Current Position
    cqf neoenergyshieldshud modpos <x or y> <value>
    cqf neoenergyshieldsfollowershud modpos <x or y> <value>

    Example:
    cqf neoenergyshieldshud modpos x 10
    Move the HUD's current X position +10 of it's current location

    Move the HUD's current X & Y positions +10 of it's current location

    Set Scale
    cqf neoenergyshieldshud setscale <scale>

    Scale is 1 is default size. 0.1 - 0.99 is smaller. 1.1 + is larger

    When using AE-WES.esp... the ring uses the [U] L Arm slot. A hidden underarm slot.
    When not using AE-WES.esp, is just uses the ring slot. This ESP is only if you want to wear your wedding ring.

    Armor Keywords Vaultsuit and some other armors may and do use that [U] slot.
    Armorsmith Extended should fix the issue and it changes some items and mostly removes [U] slots. For example Vaultsuit is just BODY.

    If shields still unequip armor and vice versa, then it is using the same slot. Most likey using both [U] L Arm and [U] R Arm.
    You will have to patch it yourself. Which is very easy to do in FO4Edit.

    Any custom armor mods, you will have to change.

    anyone else using this mod with maim and better locational damage? I'm curious about finding a way to fix mods like better locational damage and maim still inducing bleeds on you even though your shields are up.

    i dunno if this is something anyone would want to do but... energy shields that only exist as power armor modifications

    Does anyone know, is there a way to disable that fog when she shield is depleted? these several seconds of not seeing anything are kinda disturbing

    I found out why sometime shield stop working unintentionally. Due to i having random crashing or late game suddenly crash all the time after load this save and got to jumping walking for 10 sec then crash. It might be one of those Fusion city, Depvity, Project Valk those huge packs that working together except save father and also GRIM as well. I remove these mods to finally have good time with rare crash happen either by VATs freeze or CTD once (fast travel to oil rigs) just to notice that my shield never stop workin and need re equip soo if anyone having issue try playing as close to vanilia as possible and American rising is fine.

    So i use this mod to https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/66803 Can u make it so they dont take up the same armor slot? cause i want to layer them LOL I want to have shields layered like a Russian nesting doll LOL  Awesome mod though TY :)

      changing biped (armor) slot is really easy in xedit, I would recommend you learn how to edit it yourself.

      you need to edit the bipod slot for both armor and armor addon (if applicable)

    so when i try to put on these shields it takes off my clothing and armor, i have a mod that's supposed to fix this issue, but for some reason this mod doubles as both armor and clothing so when i wear the item i'm naked.

    Does anyone know what to edit in FO4Edit to make the shields stronger and regen faster? Because radiation is personally WAY too effective to the point that just being in a radiation storm DRASTICALLY lowers your shields, to say nothing of just being in the glowing sea. I'd like to increase the magnitude of effects to the point where radiant radiation is generally not a problem unless you're getting hit with hundreds of rads a second, so, if anyone knows, please tell me!

    Yo, the shield regeneration once they dropped was working, but now whenever they drop they don't actually regenerate unless I equip and reequip them and that is giant chore for something that's supposed to be automated. What is going on here?
