If you insist to install manually, the following things should be done:
1. Choose ONLY ONE esp to put into your Data folder. And rename the esp to 'Companion_BloodRose'. Esps without 'vanilla' in their names require MiscHairstyle 1.6. Read the description tab on this page for more details.
2. Put the folders 'Sound' AND 'Scripts' into your Data folder.
3. Choose ONLY ONE of the folders 'CompBRVoice_Tuned' and 'CompBRVoice_PiperOrigin'. Put it into 'data\Sound\Voice\Companion_BloodRose.esp\'. And then rename it to 'CompBRVoice'.
Nice Companion. there some problem. when you do Atom Cat Quest. when the gunner attacking Atom Cat place. the Atom Cat gang will shoot Blood Rose thinking it the gunner too. and the quest cant be done.
theres an option for using a vanilla hairstyle instead when you install the mod. If you want to use other hair mod, use looksmenu to modify her manually in game. Stop being annoying
Still works for me. I'm not normally one that cares much for companion mods but it's a pretty cool idea to use Piper's unused lines.
Despite what others have said below; the Misc Hairstyles download link not only works, but it contains 0 viruses (scanned both the files and my pc via Malwarebytes). Mods for gaming have always existed on a plethora of sites/platforms before Nexusmods was even made, and will probably continue to do so forever. Not really sure why people are getting all hung up on that.
Yeah, it's really bizarre how up in arms some people got about needing to download a single mod from somewhere that isn't the nexus.

Before Nexus there was planet elder scrolls, and plenty of other sites that hosted mods.
Plus, some of the best mods for New Vegas are hosted somewhere else that isn't nexus. Like a fully voiced Nick Valentine companion and Krieg from Borderlands as a companion.
I had a horrid experience with downloading off-site mods before and I refuse to go through that headache again. I would love to try Blood Rose out but I'm not if it means I must download an off-site mod.
you can try just downloading the mod without the hair and see what hair she ends up with. It shouldn't crash the game. Most likely, rose will just end up with a vanilla hair cut. You could even change the hair of rose through console commands (showlooksmenu) if you don't like the hair or if no hair is showing up for rose.
if you are referring to "misc hair" it is in fact one of the safest and stable mods for fallout 4. But, like the author stated, there is a vanilla hair option as well
where do I even get Misc Hair? It doesn't come up in nexus Search. It's a bit annoying to see requirements state nothing else is needed, then get to plugin installation and see I gotta go find a non-existent mod.
Yeah, comment says its totally safe but why the heck is it on some tumblr site and not on here? And like you, I click download and it just refreshes the page, perhaps because I dont have a tumblr page and wont ever get one. since someone says this is just a hash of another npc and you cant user her till after a certain stage, I will pass what with this necessary run around with her hair. If its only an option then it shoulnt be listed as a hard requirement and ink to some stupid tumblr page!.
Work bad. One time I can recruit her, after I test sending to sanctuary, after that I can just dismiss her in loop, no more option to recruit. Restarted the game nothing good. Other char like charlotte or elizabeth continue to work like a charm, unfortunately blood rose is randomly bugged.
only thing bad about this Mod is that she is another form of Piper and you can't continue the diamond City quest with her in your party. you pretty much have to have completed the entry to diamond City before getting her as a Party member.
she dont say s#*! even if she had a mouth full. christ even Marcy says more than Rose, i have yet to see her like or dislike anything in 3 days game play..must be to out dated for all the fallout 4 updates. to bad going to dump her n start a new play. no free cookies here.
Blood rose, does not react to everything that is happening, I do not know why and how. Is it necessary to start the game from the beginning so that the replicas work?

Unless it is somewhere else on the internet other than the Misc Hair website, it cannot be downloaded, at least not on Microsoft Edge web browser.
She may be invisible though!
