Looking at the mod, it appears the reason that music stops playing is that quest was flagged with "Run Once" and was not flagged with "Allow repeated stages". I've uploaded a fixed copy of the mod in the link. As a bonus, it is also esl flagged. You should probably make a clean save without the original mod first before using it. It still needs the sound files from the main download.
Hey, dropping by to say I had a similar problem, and got it fixed. Installing this mod just by using Nexus Mod Manager didn't work right off the bat, because the *.esp file is placed in the wrong directory by NMM, and the audio files don't get placed at all as far as I've seen. To fix it:
- In your downloaded "Soviet Radio-14987-1-0.zip" file, you'll find the "SovietRadio" folder. Inside this is the Soviet_Communication_Radio.esp plugin file. Place this in your Fallout 4's "Data" folder. For example, your game may be under: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data
- Now that the plugin is in place, your game may show the radio station in your Pipboy, but there are no audio files yet to play. In your *.zip file from earlier, there's a folder called "Data" alongside where the *.esp file was. Down in the subdirectories of this folder you'll find Data\sound\fx\mus\radio\SovietCommunicationRadio with a bunch of *.wxm files. Place this folder's contents into your game directory such that you have a folder path like this: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx\mus\radio\SovietCommunicationRadio
- Obviously you could simply drag the "Data" folder from the *.zip file to your game directory (i.e. C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\) and let it merge with the "Data" directory that's already there - they'll be functionally the same.
If you placed everything correctly you'll have "Soviet Communication Radio" in your Pipboy and hear the music. This is working for me and the music is great.
