Actually in order to get repsec holotape in case missing, `just use help to get the holotape ID:
help "respec" 4
and you will find the item " - Respec Holotape - ", the first two charactors of the ID are the prefix for this mod. Then you can execute the two commands in the description.
There is no need to bother the load order like what the description says, it doesnt always work.
As what I tried, my load order in Vortex for this mod is 19 (13 in hexadecimal), but in the end the holotape ID is 1A000F99, where 1A = 26 in decimal, which is not my load order. Especially if you added some new mod during a save game, the ID will not always follow the rule. Using help command is much easier and reliable
yeah seriously, just keep the game with super mutants, the ability to take a ton of bullets and explosions and heal with a needle jab, giant roaches, portable nuke launchers, sentient synthetic beings, century old zombie humans…….realistic.
That's exactly what happened to me, i thought I had to max each base perk to starts unlocking the rest.. Wasted about 12 level ups on base... This mod does the job
Installed this mid survival playthrough, got the holotape when I loaded my save and it just works. I like that everything is handled by the holotape itself, so it's quick and easy.
can anyone help me please? i downloaded and installed the mod using vortex. i loaded the mod, no holotape. i tried in-putting 'player.additem respecholotape.esp000F99' but it said it couldn't find the item. i'm confused, any help?
It's an immersive way to reset your special points and perks and it's fun. At first I was looking for a mod simply return all my points added before, it turns out I like this holotape way better. GJ.
Uhhh sorry for a maybe stupid question, but where can I get the quest for it? I am playing in survival, so I haven't got the console. I just need to know where to start x)
There is no quest, it gets added to your inventory as soon as the game start. The problem is that your inventory is reset during the events of vault 111, which I'm guessing is why you don't have the holotape anymore. Without the console the only way to solve this is to uninstall/deactivate the mod, load your latest save, save again (however that works in survival) then re-install/enable the mod. The tape should be added to your inventory upon restarting.
Ah i wondered why I keep having to add it... So, possible for the mod author to add it to the Chem Station as a 'free' creation for those this happens to, or maybe change it so that the hidden script that adds it to your inventory doesn't do so until you exit the vault?
A question. If I respec to get Local Leader and establish supply lines, and then respec again getting rid of that perk, will the supply line still exist?

Of course it's a cheat. If I want a different character, I start a new game.
