Would love to have an option that just makes it maskless without the recolor, I love this armor as well as the hunters pelt outfit but I want to use them with a gas mask to complete the look, would look amazing.
Thanks! I'm pretty sure I could make a stand alone version, but not sure how to place it in the world and/or add to the loot list. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with this weekend.

Also, anyone that wants to edit it with fo4edit, you just deselect the beard/mouth slots once you use this mod to not only keep your beard, but also allow you to use some gas masks out there that only use those slots. (You can see in the images at the link I posted above where I'm wearing the rebel gas mask with this hood). I may upload my own version with the .esp at some point for those that don't mind having another .esp file.
Yeah, I had seen yours but did maskless for me and uploaded because wasn't one there, heh. I decided to look at the creation kit and had sorted out the facial hair issue just before I read your post, lol. Once I get things all sorted out, I'm going to make a chest next to Longfellow's cabin with the hood in it. I could put all different versions in there for simplicity. I'll take a crack at that tomorrow.
Cool. I went ahead an uploaded a third version to mine without the mask and with an esp. Feel free to use whatever pieces that might help (or not if they don't lol). Mine isn't stand alone though, so if you have that figured out, would be an awesome option. I linked your mod in the sticky post to offer more options to players looking.
A quick update. I've got a bag on Longfellow island with a vanilla hood in it. And I think I've figured out how to do everything to create a new .nif and .bgsm. Not sure how to incorporate it into the Armorsmith Extended and AWKCR you mention on yours.
I torn on whether this should just become a maskless and ropeless standalone or if I should try and make it a fully optioned thing for Armorsmith Extended, giving the user the ability to change the base one with or without the mask/rope/color/etc. Thoughts?
The more options the better, but I probably know less than you do about modding and kind of fiddle my way though things lol. I think the reason mine requires those two is because when I was in FO4edit and did the right click/create new entry thing from it, I did it from the Armorsmith Extended esp and not vanilla. (Which worked for me since I wanted it to have that extra stuff anyhow). I wouldn't know how to offer the choice of having the rope or not by crafting in game, but that would be pretty cool if you figured it out.
I think I'll do a straight stand alone without rope and without mask that only requires Far Harbor DLC. I think I could have that ready today or tomorrow. Then I'll start to work on the fully optioned Armorsmith Extended version with no idea how long it will take.
