I share a similar view as Undyne777 when it comes to patches for external mods.
I do not make patches for external mods.
Q: Why? A: Quite frankly, there are so many different mods out there (scope overhauls, item sorting, ammo types, rebalances, etc.) that I can't keep track of them all. Heck, I don't even use most of them, so I do not believe it is my responsibility to make patches.
Q: You're the mod author, don't you think you should do it? A: Nope. Other modders may do it (and props to them), but I have other things that I need to be focusing on for work, family, and friends. I don't get paid to do this (nor do I want to). Also, there are times I just want to play a game or work on a new project.
Q: Who will do it then? A: Why don't you? I learned how to mod by tinkering with FO4edit, and 3dsMax then gradually learned new things over time. Maybe this your chance to step up and pitch in! :-)
Type 14 was renown for jamming. But only after a long service life. The spring in the recoil mechanic would weaken with time, poor quality steel likely the reason. Outside of that the Type 14 was a very good pistol, a sexy, but weird looking one as well.I always call it the Japanese Luger, less complicated, but still has the sexy look to it.
Only downside with this mod to be honest is the Nambu is way too powerful. I think they fired a 7mm round for example, similar to the early Navy Issued Luger pistols.Germans abandoned 7mm because it was just too weak. The Japanese kept it. Most Japanese pistols use the same 7mm round, including SMGs at the time. So seeing this gun in game is very cool, but seeing it more powerful than pretty much any other automatic pistol is kind of a major no no in my opinion. It would be cool as a pistol to spend some of that .38 ammunition you often gather up in bulk, but only if it was as weak as say a pipe pistol or something. lol
