It sent Beer Buddy to the basement, and every other settler I recruited using another mod, to the basement. I can't seem to assign them back to Sanctuary Hills. Including dogs like Dogmeat and Sparky and a dog I bought off that guy, there were 18 NPC trapped down there. and the Sturgis quest doesn't work.

    Hey friends,

Thank you for this mod. BUT everybody should make sure that they enable this mod only AFTER they have completed the first workbench quests for the sanctuary settlement. The Quest wanted me to build the beds etc. in the bunker ^^

I have a same issue here. installed the mod before I started new game. I did the Concord quest and came back to sanctuary to help the sturges build it but there must be a bug or something. I tried to place beds in the old houses, didnt work, only placing beds in the bunker helped. I uninstalled the bunker mod and tried to go on with normal sanctuary and it still does not work. placing water pumps and elecrics or food does not change anything and im stuck there.

If I am reading it right it changes the basement (root cellar) behind your house in sanctuary into a actual bunker instead of a hole in the ground.

OK so... Nate has a bunker for when the apocalypse comes.. But leaves his son and wife out to die. OK.

This bunker is not designed to be nuke proof and he still goes into the vault as before. He knew one day if he survived the apocalypse he would need a place to rest and rearm so he built this.

He has a bunker, and thus resists the multiple attempts of Vault Tec Representative to sign them up for the vault program, until at last Nora gets fed up and tells him to talk to the guy. He then discovers they're being admitted for no charge, goes through with it, and the rest is history...

This looks nice, too bad my new play through isn't living in Sanctuary.

If I get enough people asking for a different location I will consider adding a mod to move the hatch somewhere else!

I think having a buildable hatch is going to be a must have for bunker mods since everyone has a different preference for the settlement they use as home base. Then there are the people that like to move their home base to different parts of the map as they get higher levels.

I have come up with a building I build in every settlement that I use my home when I am operating in that area of the map. I use that building or I just plop down a hatch to one of the bunkers from the Basement Living mod. I have found a few bunker mods I prefer over any provided by BL. But none of them include a buildable hatch so I can place them in settlements so I passed on them. Heck if you use the Conquest mod you can place one any where you like on the map.

The only issue with that is if you have multiple hatches all leading to the same door code it will not know what door you want to exit to and will likely crash the game. Cool concept but I dont believe it is possible unless the whole bunker would be a set piece you could place in the ground like a prefab. Ill do some looking around in the files to see what I can come up with.

I believe basement living made it so you can only have one hatch of the same type active. Don't really remember, haven't used it in a while.

Would that be something I should try doing and if so would i need to get any copyright stuff settled?

The basement living author seems to be helpful in the community so he shouldn't mind helping you out with his process.
  7. Cool bunker! I like the location.

From one potato user to another; how did you get the game looking that bad? I genuinely want to know so I can try it out.

I only run my game on my laptop. Took a long time to get the game running right lol. Along with the usual Shadow map resolution and other things like that I actually set my resolution down pretty far and before the most recent update i was using the upscale mod to fit it to my screen, that worked well but crashes the game after the patch. My new solution is leaving it in windowed border less mode and using a program called HRC to hotkey change the resolution of my screen. It works well enough but adds side bars because they dont have many 16:9 options.

would be cool if it had a sewer tunnel linked to a dungeon for exploring and fighting rats
