If you want to make your own background video, do this:
1) Capture in-game video using your favorite capture 2) Make a 1080p 30fps version of the video, rendered at the highest possible quality, since you'll be compressing it again (I use Premiere Pro and export h.264 MP4 at 65Mbps bitrate) 3) Download and run RAD Video Tools (Google), select the exported file, and use default settings to make a BIK video 4) Rename the BIK video to MainMenuLoop.bk2 and place it in \Video\
For audio, you will need to:
1) Find a song you like, or make a background audio loop 2) Convert the WAV to XWM using MultiXwm (Google) 3) Rename it to mus_maintheme.xwm and place it in \Music\Special
This has to be one of the better intro Menu replacers for Fallout 4. I really like it. As for the music feature of it, it doesn't matter to me because I disable music (via BethINI utility) anyways. I think this replacer goes quite well with FROST overhaul mod because the scenery in the menu looks very gritty and (about 8 seconds or so into the animation) and there seems to be what looks like some light snowflakes that quickly fly by. The replacer definitely anticipates a mood. Cool work!
This is one of those mods that make a substantial difference in my mood before playing. Until now I was using "Cinematic Intro" by fabalpet. Kudos to the two of you for developing quality products. Awesome stuff. Thanks.
