This is a simple mod i did for myself. I know there are better mods, but they aren't to my liking.
If you are wondering why i used feltilizer and wood for ammo, it is for saltpeter and charcoal to make gun powder.
Edit( 8 june): I wanted to make cannonball with lead but i read that it was inefficient and never used in reality so, because there isn't iron, i could only use steel.
Edit (10 june): now you can use valdacil's mod (AWKCR) to use ammunation workbenches to craft ammo. You need valdacil's mod that can be found here
Could you make it so there is Alternative Recipes = Fusion Core Recipe (Yields 5: 10x Fusion Cell and no Science Required or Gun Nut) = Why Easy to get and inefficient yield cause Fusion cells are easy to get = Adhesive Recipe (Yields 2: 1x Dirty Water, 2x Carrot Flower, 2x Gourd, 2x Wild Mutfruit, 2x Melon)
YOU ADDED A FUSION CORE RECIPE, YOUR AWESOME and the fact that you researched what Gun Powder was made from and put that in the game...I found that out when I wanted to create a game -PRS- that had an easier bullet requirement than Fallout New Vegas...mines was Type with Metal (Range = Pistol=SMG/Handgun, Heavy=Magnum/Shotgun, Rifle=Assault/Rifle/Turret, Chemical= Combust=Flame/Explode, Voltage=Shock/Laser/Fuel, Biocide=Acid or Litmus/Biotic/Cyro, Melee =Edge= Cut/Sword/Axe/Saw/Claw/Shield/Boomerang/etc, Face=Bash/Club/Hammer/Shield/Knuckle/Whip/etc, Corner=Stab/Lance/Rapier/Bow/Nailgun/etc) + Gunpowder (+ Any Waste (Manure/Bodies) + Wood/Charcoal + Sulfur (In Food = Gr8 project on Periodic Table)) , but 4 easy to get ingredients for large outcome and no Primer, Cap, Specific-Types, etc. Also While researching on Bullets there are bullets made from Wood and Plastic that cause damage and then there is Powderless Guns as well, but cause this is Fallout and not PRS, it would make things complex to add...like that you kept it simple.
Good mod, though I do I edit the perk requirements and material needed because it felt little overpowered having most ammo unlocked on ranked 1 gun nut.
Awesome. Thank you for this mod. I merged the junk crafting with this and made some adjustment too for personal taste ( made it into ESL ). Since we can create adhesive now, i remove the alumunium but require more steel and adhesive. Plus produce more bullets. Well at least my crops useful now like fo76. We craft many things from crops. Thanks again.
Don't know if it is just me, but when creating .45-70 ammo there is no yield. Tried other ammo types, but they work fine, but I still can't craft .45-70
I have used this for one playthru and it was fine, but I just started another and can't find it (no option to create the workbench - using the awkcr version).
Looking under the other character, the one I created is still there, but can't place another one (doesn't show up in the list of workbenches).
Am I forgetting something or are there some know issues with other mods? Don't have alot, but I do remember a few sorting mod updates a while back. Not sure if they've had an effect or not.
I found the problem. Radrose Usability Enhancements will disable the AWKCR Ammo Workbench if you have Armorsmith Extended installed by default. If you uncheck that option you get warnings about game instability. Not sure why that is.
Anyway, I just disabled that plugin and was abvle to place the workbench again (funny it doesn't remove the one that was already in place).

Any hints would be much appreciated.
