For optional patches to modded weapons, which will introduce them to the leveled lists: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17866/?
Place the mod at the end of your load order and the patches after, or your weapons might act funny.

For overhauls such as Raider, Mutant, Mercenary and more please visit: nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25780/?
If you know of a conflicting mod you wish to have a patch to please let me know

    Installation and Troubleshooting :
    1) Place the mod at the end of your load order.
    2) Got weapons that add new ammo or armor mods you like? download their patch and place it after Immersive-Gameplay. Doesn't exist? Let me know.
    3) For any further information, feedback or reports on incompatible mods. Post a message on the mod page.
Damage of most kinetic weapons is in the 80-140 range. If your damage is off, reorganize your load order.
    4) If you have the seasonpass, download its patch and place it undeeree Immersive Gameplay

Great thanks to Alisar for her immense help with the season patch, for making the installer all on her own and for adding her own version of scrap everything with no frame drop. And to Jedstar2000 for his help with merge patches and contribution of more hardcore patches. And of course to Minami for the Reddit page, the mod's previous home for consoles and pc.

For those looking for what this mod does.... Well it does allot. For starters level no longer gives anyone any extra HP so your HP is just the 20 you start with +10 per endurance. Weapon damage is based on weapon caliber. Perk revamp (on average, this makes the game harder as all the perks were nerfed one way or another).

It also has many other effects which I can't quite recall/can't recognize from base game mechanics (like Swan getting a massive movement speed buff, if you wanna kill him bring a .50 and cap his knees) but for the most part those 3 things are the major selling features of the mod.

The current weapon balance is that everyone (not in power armor) dies from 3-6 shots from 7.62, 5-10 shots from 5.56, and 1 shot from .50 cal (almost guaranteed), those in power armor are near invulnerable to 5.56 and are only slightly inconvenienced by 7.62 but still dies from 1 shot from a .50 cal to the head (except in rare cases, if they live another shot from the 50 kills them for sure), 9mm and 10mm are absolute trash and should not be used by the player at all ever. To really understand why this all works you need to know how armor affects damage dealt, if you are hit by a weapon with 100 damage and you have 0 armor you take 100 damage (which is only survivable with 9 or more endurance, anyone not wearing armor will die in 1-2 shots from 5.56 guaranteed) but if you have 100 armor you only take 50 damage (halved) but having 4 times more armor makes it so you only take 30 damage (damage reduction 70%) and having 10 times more armor only brings that damage down to 22 (78% damage reduction) and 100 times more armor only brings that down to 9 damage (91% damage reduction) (for more information check damage resistance in FO wiki, essentially armor has a huge effect till you get to equal the armor-damage ration and then it starts to have diminishing returns). To compensate many armors picked up a pretty large buff, including power armor. It works really well to give FO4 a military sim like feel (think along the lines of Arma) and is one of the best realism mods available. The weapon and armor balance of this mod really feels allot like the Arma 3 balance. If you want a desperate survival game style this mod is a must try. (though I personally modded with FO4edit the weapon values and I highly recommend a few other things such as: I reduced the vertibird gunship damage to be around the same damage as a 7.62, I made 5.56 a bit more competitive with 130 damage, I made 7.62 a bit better with 180 damage but its more expensive, I removed every automatic weapon's .50 cal conversion cause that is just annoying when you get one shot by a supermutant shooting .50 cal with a machine gun, I buffed missiles to be able to 1 shot power armor and nerfed its AoE, I nerfed the AoE of Fatman to be only about 3 times as wide as a vanilla missile and only slightly bigger than its explosion animation, and I modified a few of the endurance and sneaking perks to be better, manually fixed a few broken perks that weren't implemented correctly like the lock picking perk, getting the low tech patch and NOT taking the easy mode patch, allowing vats to target more than a few feet from you and/or getting bullet time, and manually made hacked together compatibility patches for other mods like Strong Back reducing armor weight and critical hits outside vats)

All those computations are for humans, things like Supermutants and Deathclaws still have huge HP pools to draw from and shooting their heads or using heavy weapons is the only reasonable way to kill targets like those.

Oh and to make sure this mod is running correctly at the start of a new game you should check the damage of the pistol on the Overseer's terminal at the start of the game, it should have around 109 damage or there abouts, not 14, if its 14 damage then your load order is messed up and you should diagnose it with FO4Edit and looking for conflicts with weapons. If you can't do that then the general idea is Immersive Gameplay goes below everything except Perk mods (and other mods you intended to modify Immersive Gameplay like Realistic Survival damage)

Edit: Oh and play on Survival for the best experience, get all the season patches and other applicable patches available, get the mod that removes adrenaline extra damage and the one that sets survival damage multipliers to x1 (essentially you deal 1x damage and take 1x damage for a balanced experience), get Gopher's survival quick save, and get Sim Settlements just because it is (IMO) the best mod FO4 has (2nd being this mod).

Oh and the mod also modifies limb damage, you get crippled allot faster but also take less damage to limbs, head shots are just really really lethal and a 9mm to an unarmored head will kill in 1 hit. Which also reminds me the mod removes legendary human enemies (you can still encounter things like legendary rad scorpions or super mutants). And I think this is the mod that removes Bauble head attribute bonuses (though I'm not sure). I recommend getting the mod that lets you move around legendary enchantments and thinking of it as like a mile stone/level up so you can do some pretty interesting character builds.

Thank you for this post. Could you please provide links for the mods you mentioned ? I'm just curious which ones are you using for removing adrenaline damage, changing damage multipliers to x1 and for limb damage modification.

So is their a particular reason as to why on the XB version of this mod Pencils, pens and targeting cards are misc. items?
May be more than just those but that is what I've found so far.

How would Maim work with this mod, any ideas? Maim in itself is fun for its healing mechanics and bleeding, but I wonder if it'd conflict or not.

first off I really am enjoying your mod, looks like you have spent a lot of time crafting it.

I am having some issues however, If I play on survival mode, I cannot sleep longer than 3 hours no matter what kind of bed I use.

Even if I am using a bed that usually lets you sleep 8+ hours I get a message saying "you cannot sleep longer than 3 hours using a sleeping bag"

I'm using a lot of mods but it went away when I disabled this mod, Please please please any help would be great, I'd love to do a playthrough with this mod.

    Cheers and thanks!

Tell me more of your game, was it a new game, mid game. What other mods you used before, when did the problem start?

I had this issue myself and what fixed it was disabling the survival options mod

if you have any other mod which modifies survival options like sleep you will need to disable those mods

I’m honestly spoiled by this mod on Xbox, it’s so damn good that every other playthrough I’ve had without it, has get empty.

that said, there are some bugs I’ve found that I’ll list:

-one of the metal cabinets in workshop can’t be crafted and every single one of them in any settlement it has by default can’t be removed

-the speakers in starlight-drive in can’t be scrapped

-miniguns used by npcs don’t run out of ammo

-automatic laser weapons used by npcs don’t run out of ammo either

-I remember paint jobs for each rank of power armor soldier in the BoS, but don’t see them anymore (still testing this one)

-I remember at one point gunners having their logos on them but that could also be misremembering, but if it is meant to be a thing, that’s why I’m bringing it up.

I love, love, love the mod and I hope you’re doing as best as you can be Ekrapid and those who have worked on it. Would love to see this updated :)

One thing that should also go below this mod is weapon replacers.  Otherwise Ive experiences of some of them messing up if place above.  Some have worked but putting them all below IG and all relevant addons to it is the safest bet. In short put the weapon mod itself above IG and the replacer below

I love this mod but every npc wears 80 ammo so in a few minutes you have 5000+ ammo even when you installed the Immersive gameplay Low Tech Patch... Any solutions?

Can you make a patch so that robots and turrets aren't such bullet sponges? I get the realism of it, but it gets really tedious over time

You need heavier weapons to deal with them. Naturally because they're made of metal parts instead of flesh and bone.
