   ok.. but then... open console and type "player.equipitem 21b3b"
   
   Same and if you use hotkeys mod you can assign it to a hotkey like i do
   F11=player.equipitem 21b3b

      or get the Pipboy Remover mod and be done with the thing visually (light still works and it still shows when you access it, of course)
