Because I stopped playing and deleted the game Fallout 4, this mod is no longer supported. I hereby make it available to the community.
Due incompatibility with some mods, i make new version 2.0. Changing the location of potion was caused by modifications that govern buildable areas (Scrappings mod, buildings mods). Enjoy a light search. Picture as hint.
Complete rewrite corpse detection, remove one item from corpse and effect stop.
I decided to make a slight change in the new version. There will be these options:
Full customization = On/Off, Color & Effect changeable, Required Sneak ON/OFF, Required Weapon holstered ON/OFF, Distance limited/unlimited
Years later but the cloud/mist is part of the detect life effect. I tried changing it and afterwards it wasn't any different than the normal detect enemies.
For anyone else like myself who can't find the Unstable Nuka Cola, here's the console command to get one, because it sure wasn't in the root cellar or on the house roof, and I have NO IDEA where that place in the woods is specifically:
help "unstable nuka cola quantum" 0
You can also just write part of the stuff in quotes and it'll give you a list and you can find it in there. The return is something like this, where XX is specific to your install:
xx005400
Then just write this and get your drink, using the number you got previously:
and I have NO IDEA where that place in the woods is specifically:
That place in the woods is right near where you come up a out the vault, if standing looking at sanctuary you look to your right and up a little thru the trees, is a small covered shelter up on a small rise .. You go thru the old gate way on the right a short distance looking to your left as you go and you'll see a small covered hand made table with a single chair the bottle is there with dirty water ...
To fix the Holotape not sorting with proper icons you need to go into FO4edit and remove the space in front of [Settings] for it to sort properly with icons.
Setting it to see through walls and unlimited distance caused INCREDIBLE FPS DROP, just be aware, leave it at default 3000 and dont use the see through walls option. Not a bad mod but it is buggy as hell, for instance, i was fighting bots and mutants at the same time in the Boston Library and bots were showing up but the mutants were not, same as some ghouls in the wild show up and other ghouls do not. Weird behavior....needs more work but the idea is awesome.
I have all the options turned off except for corpses when I crouch with my weapon drawn (I only want to use it when I'm desperate to loot something), however some settlers are highlighted and it's incredibly annoying.
I can't turn it off at all, sooooo irritating. Anyone else have this problem?
Didn't work out of the box for me, I had to add the perk to my char with console for the highlights to start. For those with the same problem, check the ID via FO4edit, where btw those who want to can delete the terminal speed, the entry is under Game settings, the mod sets your terminal speed to 10k from the 60 it's supposed to be. I havent found any bug from removing that yet, but I also only use this mod for highlighting lootable bodies. Alternative is to type: help "targeting hud" 4 And look for the perk id. After adding the perk I had to switch the highlights off and on once and it worked. Edit: Also, the collor Blue - noticable - smooth didnt work for me, just leaves things without highlights.
This mod causes an apparently unintended (at least not mentioned anywhere...) side-effect of making all computer text generate faster. You can test it by using a computer and witnessing that all text appear much faster than vanilla. There doesn't seem to be any way to disable this behavior, so possibly a bug?
bumping necro but I was wondering what was causing this. Can confirm this is the mod causing it. I'll check out the file and see if I can figure out what's causing it. If I find it and fix it, I'll upload a fix file and credit SirKorax, of course.
Figured it out. There is a form added called iTerminalDisplayRate which does as the name suggests. I'm unsure if it is needed to be so high in order for this mod to function correctly so I am hesitant to remove it. I cannot seem to find a form for this value in the base game. However, there is another mod, "Faster Terminal Displays" which has different speeds and after checking this out I've found that the default value for this form is 60. This mod has it set to 10,000. I'll be fiddling around with it and see if removing or changing this back to default breaks the mod.
Nice to hear someone is willing to fiddle with this mod as it still would be a very useful thing to have with since I still constantly lose corpses into the brown foliage all the time. I only stopped using this mod due to the said computer text bug and possibly others.

But one time I did unexpectedly see settlers being highlighted when I forgot to turn off synth detection.
Killing a fly with a sledgehammer I suppose, but there is no way I'll ever use that feature so...
