Please do not link the Laundry Day mod in the comments.
I understand the concept is identical but the way each mod is played out is very different from the other.
In the Laundry Day mod it has a few more immersive steps, clothing in that mod would be placed in a washing machine inventory and converted to a wet variation of the clothing placed which would make is a miscellaneous item and add weight to your character. Then you place it in the dryer's inventory and the item will become a clean variant.
This mod is merely a crafting workbench that you use to make dirty clothes into clean clothes without much hassle.
Really nice mod. But in my opinion, sad that washer looks too rusty and ugly. Could be better it looks "clean" (like in Laundry day for example). Think - player CRAFT washer from his resources, that means he create NEW machine, not using 2-hundred-years-old crap from wasteland.
i wanted to make a settlement with everyone with clean clothes. mafia styles. suites and vests.. suspenders and few more. but only suits have cleaner version but suspender and slacks & black vest and slacks are not as clean or looks strange when wore.
This mod rocks!! So awesome, thank you so much! If you're able to update with more clothing in the future that would rock too. There's lots of hats not included for example. Not sure if they have prewar versions. It might be good to see the flannel shirt and jeans turn into the checkered shirt and slacks, and some of the other jeans and shirt outfits turning into more.
This is my favorite washing machine mod. Thank you. It's straightforward, simple, fast. Fits really well into the Fallout world. I like that it's a "crafting station". I like the way you implemented different types of washing solutions. I like that you grouped the items that you can wash. And the Valdacil's Item Sorting option is very welcomed.
Yeah, originally I was gonna make a patch for people who wanted more immersive approach to the mod (i.e. Electricity requirements) but I never got around to it, so for the short answer: it's easier to make dependency patches.
Thank you for not linking the laundry day mod. The difference between this and the Laundry Day mod is intricacy. The Laundry day mod has a function where clothes get wet and becomes misc. items and then you stick the wet clothes into a drier and they become the clean variant. Much like real laundry.
This mod is different in the sense it is just a crafting table, fast and basic so you can remove the middle man while also having it be (a little) immersive too.
I really hope this clears up a lot too because I'm tired of people linking the Laundry Day mod in my comments.
Thanks for the reply. I honestly wanted to know the differences so that I might choose between them as to which mod better fits my play style. It's good to have choices so I have zero issue with there being more. Thanks again and continue your good work.

Edit: I found the recipe to craft this in the utility station (chem station if you don't use ECO)

So no more updates from this dude making the mod dead because of recent creation kit updates.

Would be even better if it needed electricity to run, but thats a small issue.
Thanks
